CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG

3 year old loves the old movie. This book differs, but is close enough and my daughter loves it

My 4 year old loved this book. He has never seen the film and didn't know anything of the story beforehand, but had a keen interest in cars and was interested to listen to a story about a flying car.Story and illustrations are captivating.

I love this story and the artwork is wonderful. Perfect picture book version. The ending is different from the original book but both versions have the same spirit of adventure. Thank you James Bond!

My son is only 4 but has loved the movie from the age of two. I bought this book for him thinking it was very similar to the movie but it is very different, I didn’t know much about the original story by Ian Fleming and that the movie was just an adaptation. For one thing there is a Mrs Pots in the book and no Truly Scrumptious, a small detail that my son did question. However, I sold this story to my boy as a different adventure that Chitty Chitty Bang Bang embarked on and my Son just loved it. It is a wonderful story with lovely illustrations, I’m very happy with this book and is a firm favourite in our house.

Drawings attractive to five year old, who is learning to read, and taken to reading very well. Parent will be reading too.
