House Autry Mills Original Crunchy Fish Fry Breeder, 12 Ounce

Living in northern Wisconsin, we go through a lot of fish and fish fries. This has just the right amount of heat to be a crowd pleaser. Way better than the Shore Lunch that’s sold everywhere. I first found house Audrey when Walmart up here was carrying it, but they stopped. So it’s on to Amazon.

I like this as a light batter when deep frying fish. I just pat the dry batter right out of the package onto the fish. Very good, & easy too!

I found out about this while down south and I fell in love with it so much so that I order it online since I can't find it in the north (nyc) fish shrimp a little corn meal and some house autry deepfry its a winner every time...fry and enjoy....

I get the chicken breader from house autry and my family loves it, so I thought I'd try this for fish, it didn't go over well. It was super spicy, and way too salty. It ruined the flavor of the fish. I loved using the pork and chicken breader I used when I lived in the south, this was disappointing

Unlike most batters which soften once the fish cools down, this batter stays crispy for hours after cooking. The only con is that it isn't very flavorful. You would have to add spices (garlic, paprika, salt, etc) otherwise it's pretty bland.

I was so very pleased with this product. I pan fried fresh flounder with the House Autry Crunchy Fish Fry, it was perfect and I will reorder in the future.
