Pelican 14 Quart Cooler

Bought it because of the latches. Really like the design much better than the Yeti. Discovered some really cool features. The little spot under the lid for your phone and wallet or keys. It has a nice little tray for the ice packs that Pelican offers. Plenty of room for an overnight trip for two people. Plus of course superb ice retention. Definitely well made and worth the money. Highly recommend.

I've had this for going on a year. It's showing no signs of wear and is incredibly durable. It holds ice very well and fits my drinks and food for a full 12 to 14 hour work day

My son loves this durable lunch box. He is a welder and keeps his lunch and drinks cold all day even in extreme heat. Well made!

I bought this as a lunch box after a co worker raved about it. It sucks as a lunch box, but it's a pretty good cooler.Why do I say that? It's heavy, deep, and since I eat a lot of microwave meals, I found out it's not wide enough for a meal to lay flat in the bottom.It does keep cold stuff cold for a long time, and it would work fine for sandwiches and drinks.It's also got a tray inside, and a small compartment on the lid for thin (very thin) items.Cooler? Thumbs up.Lunch box? Thumbs down.I gave it to my ex. I don't think she uses it either.

Best lunchbox ive ever had. Get jokes and compliments everyday about it. Mostly joke. Yes expensive but the $10 walmart specials dont cut it anymore. It is top heavy, but the storage makes up for it. I honestly thought it was going to be bigger but its perfect sized for all my food containers and drinks with the extra storage compartment on top for pens and other slim items. Buy once cry once is the best description.

So i initially purchased this to evaluate the build quality of the Pelican brand of moulded coolers.I don't have too much to say other than this is my lunchbox for work, in an underground mine.And man, it's held up WELL. Only thing that "broke" was the detent to keep the handle verticle. But that's minor. Otherwise it's kept lunch well all day and COLD too. About 8-12 hours with 2 small icepacks and my food is like it's been in a fridge the whole time.I have also used it for light grocery trips. Got back after and hour drive with some frozen food, and it was like it JUST came out of a freezer when i opened it. Awesome cold retention.I haven't had any issues with the lid for the extra compartment on top wearing out either. Perfect size for your phone and other small items.The other reviews about this thing keeping ice for a whole day in a hot vehicle are no joke. This cooler is AWESOME and priced perfectly.You can keep your Yeti, as this thing is less than 1/2 of the cost and a better cooler.

Perfect cooler for my Nissan Rogue. It fits perfectly on the floor behind the passenger seat and I can easily reach it. The basket on the inside allows me to keep small snack items and my body armors and waters underneath.
