Nice product no nasty petroleum smell
Love the fact that it doesn’t smell its food grade leaves a nice finish you can buff it and make it shiny or just wipe on a smooth sanded surface seals the wood up nicely will buy again

These fit my need - non-food related. Future Geocaching container.
Applies easily and buffs well when mounted on my lathe then buffed with a soft cloth.Only thing I didn't like was that the printing on the container softened and wiped off very easily if I got any of the Material on it.

Nourishes and protects
Our cabinets are 24 years old and the finish is wearing thin. They were originally finished in a local shop. The polyurethane used was not as durable as the baked on finish of commercial cabinets. This product cleans,feeds and gives our cabinets a nice smooth sheen. I recommend it to anyone wanting to renew older wood finishes.

Used for Soapstone
I bought this to treat the soapstone counters in our kitchen. Previously I've used mineral oil and a combination beeswax and mineral oil. These were fine, but a little blotchy and left a greasy feel. Mahoney's worked great and left a satiny smooth finish. Perfect for this use.

This finish really shows off your work
I've used this on a few turned bowls and it's a nice finish. But where it really shines is as an overlay on CA. I did a pen which had an occlusion in mahogony which I filled with CA and finished the pen with CA. Because of the fill I didnt want to bother with 4 or 5 coats of CA. So I tried this over it and it shined up better than CA alone ever has. After a few days of curing it seems like it will hold up as well. I'll add a pic when I get a minute.

Just what we needed
I needed a material to cover a cutting board sent to me unfinished. I followed the directions from the U Tube on this product. It went on effortlessly. It brought out the tone on Maple, Oak and Cherry...all woods in the cutting board. The oil dried quickly with no residue. After several weeks it has held its shine and everyone who sees it asks how did we get that color out of all three types of wood. Highly recommended..Note..we also have used it on some old beater chopping block and Bang out came the color.
