I am so happy with this jacket. I wanted something warm enough to walk my kid from the car to school without adding a ton of bulk or putting on my winter coat yet. I debated a lot on size, considering I have owned a small Columbia jacket in the past and found it to be pretty fitted, and also considering i own the vest version of this jacket in two colors and wear a small in those and it's a good fit (but I'm generally wearing them open or over something thin like a flannel shirt). I ended up ordering the medium, and I'm so glad I did. It's not sloppy or too big, but it has enough room to wear a sweatshirt underneath and zip up without getting those weird ripples in the zipper when something is too tight (or is that just me?). For reference, I'm 5'6", 130 lbs., with a 34" bust and 28-29" waist and generally wear a small. I'm sure the small in this would fit fine also, but for layering the medium is good.

Loved this jacket, I ordered the SMALL, but it was just a wee bit tight for my liking, I prefer my athletic gear to be a little looser, that’s why I returned it - GREAT SELLER, messaged me after I started the return, very professional, polite and helpful. EASY RETURN

This is nice and warm. Fits great. Not exactly fitted, but warmer than the other version of Columbia, I think the track one.Love the light gray color, especially since it is not heather

I did not expect this to be small! u ordered my size and it unfortunately did not fit. if you want a more comfortable loose fit i’d suggest sizing up.still a great jacket, i ended up gifting it to a friend! she loved it :)

I am impressed with how warm this coat was in 35-42 degree weather. I wore it with a long sleeve shirt and a scarf. I brought a vest and a pullover because I didn’t think it would be enough. It was perfect for chilly late fall mornings! So soft and comfy… I bought a big size to be able to get layers underneath it and it cut for an adult woman very nicely! VEry well made! I am very happy!

I’m 5’7” and 150#’s and got the small. I use the adjustable cinch strap to keep it closer to my body. Still feel feminine wearing it Keeps me warm enough, but living in Louisiana, our winters aren’t harsh. And when it’s colder, most opt for heavier wear. I make do because I’d rather be a little cold and less restricted with something thick and puffy.

Soft and cozy even after multiple washes. I wear this quite often and so far it’s holding up really well. Size is accurate, maybe on the looser side but I wear it to work so I want it to be a little roomy

I was looking for a lightweight jacket that would work for the cool weather of Spring and Fall. I am 5'2" and usually wear an X-Small or Small in a t-shirt depending on the brand. In most jeans, I wear a size 1. I really liked the burgundy color in this jacket, so I ordered a size small.Although the small fit, I didn't think it would work as a jacket - wanted something a bit looser. So, I decided to order this jacket in a medium. The replacement fit more like a jacket, which is what I wanted. I returned the size small and kept the medium. The pictures are me in the size medium. When choosing size to buy, there are a couple of things to consider. If you plan to wear it as a light jacket over a t-shirt, your normal size will work fine - especially if you plan to leave it unzipped. The sleeves are not snug at all and a little long for me, but fit comfortably with elastic at the wrist. The inside pockets are large enough to carry a cell phone, a checkbook, or a wallet. If you plant to wear this as a jacket and especially if you plan to keep anything in the inside pockets while zipped, it would be a good idea to order one size up. Anything in the pockets will show bulges on the outside if you order your normal size and zip the jacket. It isn't fitted at the waist, but that's one of the things I like about it. When it isn't zipped, it doesn't flare out around the hips. The jacket also has a drawstring at the bottom if you want to pull it in at the hips.So, what do I love about this jacket?1) Very soft and lightweight, yet warm.2) Can be worn as a jacket for chilly weather outdoors or inside in the winter when the house is cool.3) Has 2 zippered pockets on the outside large enough to keep a wallet or small essentials.4) Has 2 deep pocket on the inside to carry a cell phone checkbook, wallet, or other items of similar size.5) It doesn't have a hood which can get in the way if you have long hair, and really isn't necessary indoors or in mild weather. 6) The collar stays down and does not have to be up around the neck. 7) The zipper works great and is not at all stiff or hard to zipper.I initially bought the Bark color, which is dark brown, to figure out the size I liked best. Since I like this jacket so much, I put 4 more colors on my wish list for Christmas - rich wine (burgundy), charcoal heather (dark grey), burnt orange (can't find color name), and a medium grey (can't find color name). My husband bought all of them probably thinking I would return a couple of them. I love them all and they go with different outfit colors. So I kept them all.In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this jacket. I hope this review was helpful for you. I will update it if my opinion changes.

had to return due to size issue.instructions didn't state the labels needed to be in triplicate (so I was told at the shop)The shop was unable to scan the item. This has never been a problem before with my printer. Perhaps because the label sent to me to print was very small.Can't now return this item.Waste of money.

I purchased this exact same fleece from a Columbia store a few years ago. I really liked it but have recently lost weight and needed a smaller size, so I took a risk and ordered it here on amazon because the price was right. I was so pleased when it arrived (dark raspberry) that I immediately ordered another one (velvet cove). Both sweaters are "true to color" - they look the same in person as they did in the product listing. I especially like the dark raspberry, it is a beautiful color.I am 5'3" and weigh about 160 pounds. I ordered both sweaters in size large. I like a baggier fit and these fit the bill perfectly. I can comfortably put a long sleeved thermal top underneath these sweaters and still be able to move around without restriction. If you prefer a more "fitted" fit - haha - I would suggest that if your body is shaped like mine you go for a medium. These fleece sweaters do fit true to size.These sweaters are genuine Columbia products. They're soft and warm, but lightweight. I LOVE the zippered pockets (perfect for cell phones and keys!) and I like that they zip up to my chin. I wear these sweaters all the time in winter - they're cuddly and warm and soft and comfortable.I absolutely recommend this fleece by Columbia if you're looking for something comfortable, warm and functional. Full stars from me, and I will definitely be ordering more colors.
