Beautiful nail polish. Absolutely love the color and the coverage. It lasts about 5 days before it starts to chip. I will definitely buy again.

I honestly wasn't expecting much, as I've tried so many different brands and types of polish as they all let me down within a couple days. But this stuff is awesome. This is rock the runway red and the picture is about 4 full days in and I am rough on my nails. I am always cleaning and my hands are in water so much. There's just a couple tiny chips that can easily be touched up. Best part is, there's absolutely no cracking!!!! I have never had polish that didn't crack before. This is 2 coats of color and 1 of the same brand top coat. I am totally done with my nails and they are completely dry in 1 hour! The top coat is amazing and dries the tacky polish almost instantly. I love this polish. I also purchased a different color red and 2 different pinks and they are all wonderful.

Bought in person at Ulta & love color. Nice dark, saturated blood red for Christmas or Valentine's Day, any formal event. Not bright shocking red. More sophisticated red. Never cared for Essie until they came out with this Gel Couture line. With the gel topcoat lasts for several days with touchups. If you're young & hand aren't in water much, manicure will last 5-7 days easily if not hard on hands. If you're older, clean your own house, dishes, scrub pots, need touch ups. But best self manicure polish out there imo. Used to use China Glaze (was better 10 days easy) then changed formula think, or OPI, Seche. FYI top coat works with other polish also. Have tons of OPI & use top gel glaze with all. Definitely improves wear. Highly recommend this brand type & color.

This is two coats of the pink and one top coat. I already had it on for 4 days. I like that the top makes the nail polish dry quicker. Since it’s regular nail polish, it does take a while to dry so I put it on before I sleep and it works great. The nail polish doesn’t chip for me but the tip of my nails always loses color fast. I do wash a lot of things and use my hands a lot so it’s pretty good for it not being real gel. Removing the nail polish is so easy as well. I do have to redo the nails weekly otherwise it gets dull and can crack and chip.

this is 3 coats of sheer fantasy with 1 coat of the regular top coat. It’s a lot more sheer in color than the pictures they used on the listing. Personally, I love the Essie Gel Couture polishes ever since I saw a TikToker (Yolanda Diaz) do hers! Gel usually ruins my nails and makes them so brittle so it’s awesome to get the gel like finish with a regular polish. Easy to apply, not streaky, pretty chip resistant, not too thick, and lasts longer than regular polish for me (at least 7-10 days).

Love the color! It’s a light translucent blush pink! I use a natural base coat, wait for it to dry, then apply 2 coats of this polish.. super important to let each coat dry first before applying the next! I then applied the Essie gel top coat that come with!! For this look I also applied a top coat that has slight silver glitter for a hint of sparkle & shimmer effect! I let this glitter coat dry and applied another coat of the essie gel top coat! The polish is not thick and last about a week and half before I start to get any hint of chipping! Also do not feel the urge to peel off, it hang on to your nail as a gel polish would and can damage the top layer of your nails! * add cuticle oil too ( I forgot to here.. but if you do it also helps maintain a professional look)

These polishes last 2 weeks, easy. The formula dries quick when applied in thin coats. Ended up buying more colors since I've enjoyed using it so much.

I’ve used Essie polish for 20+ years. From the regular to Expressie, to their various topcoats, base coats, glitters, cuticle oils, and gel polishes, I’ve tried it all.This polish is not worth $12/bottle. This specific polish chips off within a day.Base coat, two coats of color, and the gel top coat, it chips off.In fact, if you use the gel topcoat as a base coat you can actually just peel the full nail’s worth of polish off.This does not have the longevity of an authentic gel manicure.Second, as you can see from the photos, it stains — bad. This is the worst my nails have ever been stained by a nail polish and I had it on for five days.The only places it didn’t stain are the spots I peeled off.This is after two rounds of pure acetone polish remover. I’m a huge fan of reds — my all time favorite Essie polish is Clambake or Really Red. THEY don’t even stain this bad.I have no idea how to get this off my nails and will probably repaint them with something lighter while this grows out.For how much it costs & the fact that I’m throwing it in the garbage after one use, I expect better from Essie. This definitely has me rethinking any more vibrant colors.
