Powerful pulse
I would give this 5 stars but I have a couple of issues with it. First, I find that it is not as easy to fill with water as the previous Waterpik flosser that I owned. With this one, the fastest way to fill it requires removing the water tank as trying to fill it by using the opening at the top of the tank is a losing battle. My second complaint is that it is REALLY powerful, even when I use the soft pulse setting. This might be a problem for anyone with very sensitive gums, like me. Otherwise, I am happy with the product and hope it lasts longer than my Waterpik flosser did, which just stopped working one day!

This is truly an AWESOME product. My dentist recommended that I get a Water Pik and after searching the products I found this little gem!! I could not believe how many particles come out of my teeth after I have brushed them. Here I thought I was doing a good job, until I got this great product!! Not having a tube hooked to it is a big plus for me. The water compartment is fine, I have been known to fill it up and and do it again! I now brush with a sonic tooth brush, floss with this great Product and then use a mouth rinse. I am totally happy with this great product and look forward to using it every day. It is easy to use and works GREAT!!! The price was very reasonable for something that works this great!! Highly recommend for any age!!!

The water fill hole is so small it is a pain to fill it.The buttons are a bit stiff and hard to push to turn off and on and change the settings while you are using it.It works fine and I like the two tips that are included but due to the above reasons next time I may go back to the Waterpik brand (I have had a few of these) as it is a bit easier to fill and the on off buttons are easier to get to.

Great value and works very well.
I have rarely written reviews before, simply because I don't want to bother with it. However, the value of and the fact that this Wellness irrigator device works very, very well has actually moved me to write something for once. I like it, it works great. I charged it the first day about a month ago and the charge lasted nearly a month on the soft setting. Easy to fill, I take the tank off and fill it, it then slides/pops right back on again. No issues. I can see how someone in a hurry may repeatedly take the tank off too rapidly and pop the little water filter off of the intake tube, but just be mindful and ease the tank off or use the little flip cover for the hole at the top.

A real "Booger Noser"
This purchase started out bad because of the confusion of reviews and questions on the listing. Some are for the toothbrushes and some for the flosser. I bought the flosser. The first thing I noticed when I got it was the hole to fill the water is extremely small. The size causes difficulty filling as it's hard for the air to escape. I tried to be patient but it was a real pain. I sent it back as unacceptable. The rest of the operation was average. Having only 3 settings wasn't enough... it seems a variable control would be better. The reservoir is kinda small - but it is cordless. (They misspelled IRRIGATOR on the package - that's a sign... not a good one.)I got it on a Lightning Deal - but have to pay return shipping. Not real happy about that. :(PS - my two year old grandson asked me what it was, when he was visiting. I asked him what did he think it was? He said a "booger noser" - meaning an electric baby nasal aspirator. :o)

It works fine and do its job as described
It works fine and do its job as described, the only reason I gave it 3 star is for safety reason, the water flow is too strong, if accidentally point it directly to eyes it can hurt you if it does not blind you.! (like what happened to me!!) they should consider that, simply by changing the button press mechanism (on and off) to HOLD mechanism..

but it does a good job for being a portable model
Bought this for our son and daughter in law for Christmas as a starter with the water flossing. It's a little bulky to fit back in the farthest corner of the mouth and reach the back teeth, but it does a good job for being a portable model. They love the concept and now use this everyday over any floss.thanks, it's a keeper.

this is a very good quality alternative to the Waterpick brand
For the money, this is a very good quality alternative to the Waterpick brand. A no frills waterpick that gets the job done. Just a word of caution, it's probably best to use the "soft" button selection for those who have softer gums. The blast from this pick can cause the gum line between teeth to bleed from the pressure, at least until they toughen up from the cleaning.

Decent product and effective but failed totally after 9 months. First it lost pressure very suddenly, then in the middle of the night started blasting water all over the bathroom of it's own volition. Couldn't turn it off and eventually burned it's motor out.

Just the job for travel
I have owned the unit for nearly 2 years now and whilst it is functional and ideal for travelling, I have to air some shortcomings with the unit which may be of use to existing owners or prospective purchasers.Firstly, there is an issue with recharging the unit which I believe has affected many owners judging by the other reviews. It may manifest itself as batteries which are expiring as it does not hold a charge and never fully charges up (indicated by the blue light never reaching the steady charged state. I found out the cause of this the hard way. I bought and fitted replacement batteries (not recommended for the novice as soldering is involved) which seemed to sort the problem for a week or so until the new batteries reached the same state as the old ones. The problem is down to the connector on the charger but also the connector on the unit itself. It is caused by water getting into the connector during use and then being transferred to the charging connector when next charged. the net result is corrosion and consequently a bad connection during charging although there is no indication of this as the charging light flashes as normal. The cure: If you have the unit from new it should be charged and afterwards a piece of adhesive PVC tape applied over the connector recess on the irrigator to protect the socket from moisture. This may be removed for charging and replaced before next use etc.If you have been using the unit for some time and you have a charging problem, the solution is a little more difficult. The connector recess on the unit must be thoroughly cleaned and dried using cotton swabs and isopropyl alcohol or similar agent. The charger connector is a little harder as the corrosion has to be removed in each connector. I used a miniature drill bit to scrape the corrosion off and then using miniature long nosed pliers pinched the female sockets slightly to get a firmer grip on the male pins when engaged but not too much or you will render the connector unusable. Once you are satisfied that the connector is working properly use some silicone grease in the charger connector to prevent the corrosion from recurring. The proof of working is to try out the charger and the blue light should go steady within 24 hours or less depending on the state of the batteries. A fully charged irrigator should last over a week when used two or three times a day. Once in use again make sure that the connector is protected from water ingress by using tape between charges. The original batteries in the unit were in fact ok and the issue was with the charging connection. The other issue is the formation of mould in the water container and other areas on the unit. You have to be very careful to take care of the unit in use to prevent this issue by taking the following steps:1. Always empty the residue in the machine by running briefly without the take after use.2. Remove the tank, rinse and dry it and keep it separated until the next use. If mould has formed in the tank already, clean with a bottle brush and non toxic cleaning agent taking care to rinse thoroughly afterwards.3. The rest of the machine should be carefully dried after emptying including the filling hatch and orifice. Any evidence of mould should be removed using a cotton bud and rinsed and dried carefully afterwards. Leave the filling hatch open to allow air circulation. From time to time inspect the machine and clean as necessary. Dirt build up in the cracks can be effectively removed using an old toothbrush.Although it may take some care to keep clean and could be better designed for the charger connection it is an invaluable tool for dental hygiene.

Works but problematic.
After just One and half month stop working lights on the product but then it stop to turning up too. It may be wet connections in the unit. So now I have different one.

An honest appraisal of Wellness FC-10
Delivery of the jet is better than the Phillips equivalent. Two drawbacks:- the charging unit is poor and flimsy, it has to be plugged in, there is no base to use for charge.....to get a satisfactory water refill, it is necessary to remove the tank from the main assembly. There is a hole in the top but it is extremely fiddly and wastes a lot of water by being far too small. Recommend you cover over the charging port before filling with water as it is prone to corrode then will not work.

Not impressed.
It's not as powerful as I was expecting (I had an Oral B that you plug in which was amazing).
