I have used the old fashioned 'spike' kind and cheap plastic squeeze juicers> my hands got tired and I got a limited amount of juice. This juicer is amazing> lots of force with little hand effort and lots of juice. I used it on oranges and grapefruit- for grapefruit, either cut in quarters or squeeze halves in the following way... slide the bottom of a half grapefruit into the juicer and squeeze. Rotate the cut grapefruit half in the juicer and squeeze the top portion. If desired, fold the now flattened half grapefruit in half and squeeze again - you'll be surprised at how much extra juice you can get! I have a fair amount of arthritis in my hands and this juicer does not cause me any problems at all!

I so wanted to like this product as it is a good quality Stainless Steel. We live in a salt environment where all stainless ends up rusting unless it is at least 18/10 or marine grade 316 or better. This little tool looked like it would fit the bill. Unfortunately, it didn't work out that way. Oh the stainless has held up perfectly but the meshing of the two pieces has not remained constant. I noticed at the very beginning that the top piece didn't quite fit into the lower piece quite right but I thought that maybe that was the way it was designed. Every squeeze since then has exacerbated that misalignment until it is almost useless. I can still squeeze some juice out of a lime but a lot goes to waste. It's way too late to return it so I thought I would write the review instead. Vitaus claims that they will replace it if not completely satisfied but know how to contact them. Who knows...maybe they will see this review and offer to replace it. If you are considering this lime squeezer, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

This product has a nice weight to it so I expect it to be sturdy. It does a nice job squeezing the juice from lemons. I have not tried limes as of yet but I suspect it to perform just as well. I do find that it's necessary to cut a large lemon into thirds to get all of the juice. This product is very easy to clean which is a plus. I do recommend this product to anyone looking for a lemon/line squeezer.Edit: It still works like a champ! It’s super durable and is holding up perfectly. As long as my kids are asking for fresh squeezed lemonade, I’ll be using this to squeeze the lemons.

I purchase one like this before and was not happy, it was made from a different material and fail after my first use, this is a far better product and being stainless steel I no it will last

I love this juicer. It's so easy to use and works very well. I hope it is stainless steel and holds up. The ad does say it's stainless steel, but the instructions tell you to hand wash it. If it's S/S, why wouldn't you be able to put it in the dishwasher??If you are interested in this juicer, watch the price, because it goes up and down like a yo-yo!

This thing works very well. It really flattens out the lime slice, so that most of its juice is extracted. However, it has a very small capacity, so you will need to cut the limes in quarters, unless they are tiny limes. When you use a quartered lime, some of the juice may squirt out of the top of the squeezer, so cover it with your free hand.

Arrived right on time and looks great but it's so cheap for a reason. It is way too small to fit anything other than a small lime. Really disappoints because I have to finagle with the lemons and limes all the time just to get it to produce juice.

LOVE this lemon squeezer - it's the best one I've ever owned. SO glad I went with the big size also. This lemon squeezer has a nice big cavity where even the large lemons fit in there & it's heavy duty so squeezing is a breeze. I highly recommend this product!
