I loved it for my wedding

This tie was a bit of a spur-of-the-moment purchase while building my own arsenal, and I must say that despite the flattering photos on amazon, I'm not as blown away as I am with the other purchases I made, or as with other ties from this same maker. The price is great, but the knot isn't ideal, and it doesn't work with all of the shirts I had hoped for it to. It's a very nice looking tie, and I can't say much negative about it, except that I don't have enough shirts to wear with it as comfortably as I like.

Even though i havent used this tie yet, it is very good quality, thick and colors are true.

I ordered the Pink & White Checker tie and was so excited for it to come in right in time for Easter and my son and husband were going to match. It came in the night before and it was NOT pink! It was a very light tan color. I was so disappointed. And it was too late to find another tie for them to match.

I ordered 13 of the Canary Yellow & White checkered ties for my May 2012 wedding and they were perfect! Scott sent me a sample so I was able to see the tie before ordering, and I was very impressed with the quality and visual aesthetics of the product. Excellent quality and a beautiful design. The tie itself is a little more towards purple than the picture suggests. This is a purple tie, not a blue tie. Having said that, I am not sure I would wear a purple tie and I will be glad to use this one regularly for time to come. It is a subtle purple and still a beautiful design. Excellent when you want a little more contrast. Yes, I recommend it, and the price is great.

I don't write many reviews, but I'm impressed with this tie. Granted, I haven't worn it multiple times to see how it holds up but the quality out of the box is pretty good. Are there better ties out there? Of course. But for the price, doubtful. If it falls apart after a few times wearing it, or the first dry cleaning, I'll update and adjust the rating. But for VALUE, this is pretty good as it ties a nicely and fills my need of adding variety to my everyday work ties. I have a few Scott Allan's from this order I'll be rating the same!

A beautiful tie, but not of a good quality!

Lovely tie and lovely fabric!!! Ofcourse I never expected the tie know to look like this as the picture ties knot at a wider length but I got what I wanted. It is just traditionally wide and not as wide as the picture.

Quality, nice looking product and the price is right.
