Ok so let me start by saying I started off with the opinion that these headsets are kind of lame because you have to use your phone, and it would be so much better to have it be its own little console. I got this headset and I have to say that I am impressed. The idea is fun, the functionality is efficient, the innovations and potential are pretty extensive. The content - the amount of apps, games, etc. - is a bit lacking just because this idea is still pretty new. Now for this particular product:My first impression is that its a little chintzy; the front cover is not very secure and will slide open if you move too quickly from side to side. Also regarding quick movements, the adjusting slides on the top shift ever so slightly with a brisk look up or down, unless you have it adjusted all the way in either direction. All the separate plastic pieces are loose, so you sometimes can hear and feel the click and clack and creek of the plastic shifting. the face cushion is comfortable and eliminates light to ensure a good picture. However, the nose gap is very small, and thus I feel that the bridge of my nose supports a good deal of the weight, which is a bit uncomfortable. But they include a small foam pad that you can put on it to compensate, which in my opinion is a bit if a design flaw... the straps are very secure and are comfortable to use and ware for an extended period of time. I was able to focus my headset to a near perfect field of view, and that made the experience, and the purchase worth it, but just barely. I loved seeing some amazing panoramic pictures and tours of far away places and beautiful scenes, and also playing some simple games was pretty fun. But having to constantly adjust the image, and re-secure the front sliding cover, as well as the stress on my nose, makes me want to get a different headset, or wait until the product is put through enough refinement and then get another.
