I read the negative review and it's obvious that the writer is not a true beef jerky aficionado like myself. I am an official beef jerky rater for the American chapter of beef jerks. Wyoming beef jerky has a fabulous smoked flavor. In fact it tends to taste a bit like bacon. Who doesn't like bacon. The texture though on the initial harder side melts in your mouth. As to salt the previous reviewer critizized this jerky for having 15% salt. Any true beef jerky lover knows that this is very low compared to many brands in the 25% to 35% range. The calorie count is also on the low side with only 60 calories per 1 ounce. As to price -- this is a 3.5 oz bag and is comparable to other brands of 2.25 oz and significantly cheaper than many others. In closing great taste and texture truly a well executed product.
