Not the real deal
Broke a tuning head on my 2008 Gibson LP studio. Bought these because I thought they would have worked. I received everything as specified however when I went to install them, I wasn't happy with the design. There is a jam nut that threads into the tuning gear itself on the Gibson design to clamp the tuning head to the headstock. These tuning heads do not have that. Instead it's a bushing. But the bushing is far to small. So therefor the only thing that will hold the tuning head in place when you put some real tension on them from the strings will be the tiny little screws holding them in place. This will not work well at keeping your strings in tune when your banging away. Yes they will get you out of a jam but I highly recommend spending the 100$ on the real thing.
