Time Classic Tissue – 4 ply - 56 packets

Great product. Strong but soft. Have bought these for years as they also don’t disintegrated in the washing machine if left inadvertently in pockets. For this reason, don’t dispose of down the toilet!

Good product. A little expensive

I have the kind of sensitive skin that used to make me dread both winter and summer: one brought colds and ‘flu, the other hay fever and both left me with such a red, swollen, nose, with broken skin that was extremely painful to touch, let alone try to blow with a tissue, even those sold as ‘softest’. (A very rural childhood where tissues were almost unknown — yes, I’m that old — and soggy cotton handkerchiefs were the standard was sheer torture at times.)So I can hardly express the difference these have made. I simply no longer have a nose that looks, and feels, like an open sore for weeks at a time whenever I’m hit with an allergy or have the winter sniffles. These really are so much softer, thicker and more absorbent than anything else on the market.They are more expensive, but, in practice they work out cheaper because I find them both large enough and thick enough to tear in half. Because I have a more-or-less permanent allergic rhinitis I’m never without a little pile of halved Tempo tissues by my bedside, desk or in my bag. I also use them for make-up removal, water glass spills, coffee slops, greasy/sticky fingers when eating snacks and as a paper napkin, wiping my fountain pen, and probably dozens of other things as well. They stand up to such tasks with aplomb.I used to get a little panicked when I couldn’t always find them on Amazon (the prospect of Brexit blocking supplied threw my head into a spin) but there seems always to be some available these days.Long may that continue.If you ever use packs of paper hankies, use these. There are no others even nearly so thick and gentle in tender skin or so absorbent for genera tasks. And unless you have a nose like a particularly perfidious Pinocchio half of one is probably all you’ll need most of the time. So you can save the planet as well!

We used to always buy Cushelle tissues but sadly they don’t seem to be sold anymore. These were recommended as an alternative. One thing that was great about Cushelle was that if you accidentally washed one, they wouldn’t disintegrate. I don’t know whether these would be as good but that’s something I’ll have to wait to find out about.The packets are the same size though and are great to put in your handbag or pocket.

It's a bunch of tissues. Good tissues. Does it really need a review for you to make up your mind... life's too short.
