Westinghouse 6620300 Two-Light Ceiling Fixture, Clear,White
G**R
Only for house wiring rated at 90 degrees C. minimum.
However, a safety label on the underside of the fixture warns that it must only be used with house wiring rated for 90 degrees Celsius. The wiring in older homes may be rated as low as 60 C., putting it at risk of melting with the heat of this fixture which is unvented. Nothing in on-line product description or the package's external labeling indicates this. So, one more product back to Amazon and several days' delay to my project. The fixture itself appears to be excellent, rated a 2 to get readers' attention and for the inconvenience of needing to return it due to inadequate product description.

Good basic light but breaks easily
I used this inexpensive light to replace a 30 year old and bulky ceiling fan. Overall it was ok but as soon as I grabbed the pull chain it snapped off, requiring a repair before the light was even installed. Worth the money but just understand you're getting a cheaply made product. At this price one shouldn't expect much but product should not break immediately even if inexpensive. Good for a low cost replacement, though.

simple, great value.
actually a Westinghouse light. came in a Westinghouse box. my laundry room had a very similar lamp, but it was single bulb and the insulation was lamp-side and falling apart. so i figured i'd try to find a light that would fit in the same exact spot but two bulb and this seemed to be it. welp it was EXACTLY it. in fact i even re-used the old glass since the diffusion pattern was different on the old one, which i preferred. it's little squares instead of the repeated circles. whatever.basic, basic classic style lamp. great value.PS: i am running two 60W equiv 3000k Utilitech LED bulbs. fit fine. ample light.

Crappy fixtures waiting to drop the glass cover on your head
Glass cover and the metal body are standard and fine. No damage on them. Packaging is good. The pull switch had acceptable smooth action. Problem is the 3 holes for the screws that hold up the glass cover. All three screws were loose in the holes and one was stripped so that the screw will not lock. The foil on the insulation was also ripped and missing around the hold screw holes. The wires were in some kind of connector that is wrapped with black tape. The tape ends were loose. I bought a westinghouse fixture before. That was very below the standard too.

Had it 2 years before the pull-chain snapped off at the base. No way to repair
Had it 2 years before the pull-chain snapped off at the base. No way to repair. Into the trash it goes.Aside from that, the switch mechanism was always ridiculously loud. Could hear it ker-clunk on and off in other rooms of the house.

Great Closet Light
Needed to replace my closet light pull stopped working after 8 years. Electrician installed my original light. Since it’s the exact same fixture my fiancé is “attempting” installation today! I could not buy this replacement at Home Depot it’s out of stock! Amazon to the rescue! TY

Just what I was looking for my kitchen.
Just what I was looking for my kitchen. I have this over the sink with the Westinghouse 6623800 10 3/4" in the center of the room. only issue was the way the one bulb in the lamp puts it off to one side because the lamp is so small. I modified mine by replacing the standard socket with a GU10 socket and led bulb. I found a GU10 bulb that was warm at 2700k and although it is a spotlight I like the way it shines directly down at the sink. 2700k is the warmest I've found which is very close to incandescent. I've been slowly restoring the vintage look to my house which was built around 1918.

Pull string, pretty light fixture
Just what I needed to replace same fixture that was 20+ years old. Pull string for on/off (not a lot of light switches on walls in my 100+ year old house). While cost was cheap, look is classic. Very happy with my purchase.

Pretty and does the job
Used this for the laundry space in my 60 year old home. Replaced an ugly single bulb pull chain light with this and the space is so much nicer looking now!

Nice light
Gives great light because of the clear cut glass... exactly what I wanted for my kitchen.Had a dent in the metal piece where it met the ceiling but we were able to straighten it so it's not too noticeable. I think it looks nice in my kitchen for my reno job.

It looks like it, but it sure is in great shape
Wanted a replacement kitchen light for my 75 year old house that fit the age and style of the house. My sister came to visit. As we're chatting in the kitchen, she got rather distracted, and then says to me "Is that fixture original to the house? It looks like it, but it sure is in great shape."
