I've had this Dash Cam for almost two years. It works great and I've had no problems with the camera performance. I did have a small problem recently where a plastic part of the suction cup broke. I sent an email to the product maker and received a reply within 24 hours as promised. They sent me a replacement part at no cost, as well as a second (same) part, that arrived within 10 days. These folks have exceeded my expectations.

When I first opened the box I was impressed with the build. Metal body, weighty, felt good. My hopes were high. Instructions were brief but adequate and operation is simple enough if you've ever had a small camera before. After the initial, in-vehicle test I was shocked at how bad the video was. I considered returning it RIGHT NOW. I decided to make some adjustments and try it again. 100% improvement but still less than I'd hoped for. What I did was drop exposure value to -2 and turned on WDR. I might up exposure value to -1 and see if that's better.The video is not great. It's pixilated and contrasts are not handled well. A tree-lined road in bright sunshine, where you're going in and out of shadow, is especially tough. The video is adequate for recording possible "situations" but don't expect GoPro or smartphone quality and I'm not sure about reading license plates at any distance or under movement.The camera is easy to operate and well laid out. It's small enough not to be intrusive, if well placed and holds well to the windshield. Audio is pretty good if there isn't a lot of ambient noise but suffers in my loud, airy Jeep. An enclosed car would probably be fine.All in all, I'll keep the camera and keep playing with the adjustments.Thanks for reading and have a great life!!

Works good easy to install. I have no problem using this dash cam.

I haven't had this product for very long, just about a week or so. However in the short amount of time I've had it I think I have a good feel for it. First, the good; it does what you need it to very well. The dashcam itself has a lot of great features such as auto loop recording, impact sensor that saves videos at time of impact, and 1080P quality so the license plate that's 5 feet in front of you won't look like it was filmed on a gameboy. Now the bad; the battery is god awful, now matter how long you charge it if it's not plugged in then the battery will drain in 10 minutes or so, now that being said it comes with a car outlet plug that when always plugged in will prevent the battery from dying but it's a mess of wires that can even get in the way of you driving but for the most part it's manageable. Another bad thing is the mount. I've only used the suction cup mount so far and although the actual suction cup sticks to my windshield very firmly, the rest of the won't feels kind of weak and if I did get hit then it might fall of. All in all, it's a very solid product that does the job.

Works and is worth the money ut not beat quality,randomly turned off at times,easy to install,good suction.overall id buy it again but i would also probably just pay the 30-40$ for a better one.

safety concern and recording ability

This device worked as advertised until the return window had closed. It worked as designed recording started when ignition turned on but now when the ignition is turned on this screen comes up and it requires choosing an option before it will start recording. This is difficult to do when in the driver's seat and the unit is hidden behind a mirror. Night recording is very poor but is acceptable for the price.UPDATE...UPDATE... UPDATE... UPDATE...I was premature in my posting. CHORTAU responded to my email and advised me that I was not getting enough power to the unit and to try the cigarette lighter cord instead of the vehicle usb port. It worked... I then went back to the usb connection and inserted and removed the plug several times to "clean" the contacts and it worked as designed once again. Still not very good night vision, but good enough for the low price of the unit. Amazon also stood behind the unit assuring me that their reseller would make it good under the warranty, or they would issue a refund.

Didn't last a Year.

I bought the dash cam last December and it only worked for five months. I contacted the vendor to have the unit fixed under the 1 year warranty given on the product listing. The vendor asked me to reset the unit but when it failed to resolve the issue, he asked me to perform tests, one after another and none of them helped to resolve the problem. Now the vendor is not even bother to return my email.

I like this dash cam, but the description doesn't mention that it does/doesn't come with SD card. in order to get a free 16gb sd card, I will need to write 5star review and send them the proof.this may be the way they promote the product, but it's inconvenient and kind of annoying. now I have to order my own SD card because I don't want give 5star reviewit's OK the product doesn't come with sd card, then I can just order at same time. I believe no one is willing wait 7-12 days for a free $6 card.

For the price it does the job. If you're using it for the parking cam or motion detection, its a bit wonky. The internal camera battery is crap, so it basically has to be plugged into power constantly. So if you are just using it for a dash cam while the car is in motion its fine, plugged into the DC car outlet. If you plan to use it as a parking security cam, you will have to invest in a power bank. Otherwise the devices internal battery runs out in an hour, or you may drain your car battery if you leave it plugged into the cigarette lighter/DC outlet overnight.

The media could not be loaded.  I’m using it for recording. Things happening all the time no matter it’s good or bad. We’d better prepare for. Have records on the hand is alway better than nothing. I like this little camera build inch more confidence for me.

The media could not be loaded.  It is the one of the best purchases I've done last year. Good quality with cheaper price. The continually recorded video is quite clear and stable even in the night. Everything will be recorded in the micro SD card, so just take it out from the dash cam and plug it into your computer to view or edit your videos. Especially the loop recording function can overwrite previous recording automatically, and you don't need worry about the memory space. The only function I didn't use well is the "Lock" function, sometimes the locked video was overwritten by the new video also. In conclusion, after 5 months continual using, testing, it is really a good quality products and a great deal for the price you pay for.
