Not sure what's up with weber but the original grate was pure van garbage...got all rusty flaky in just two years. These pups were nicely priced, look great, fit perfectly. Saved me spending another $500 on a new grill which I believe is the intent of weber making a crap grate in the first place. Well guess what weber, there's this thing called amazon.

Ordered these for my boyfriend’s grill and am glad it fits. He has been unable to use his grill because the other grates rusted out so badly. Good quality castings. Fit my Q300 perfect. As soon as I got them I washed them down in hot sudsy Dawn dishwashing detergent, dried them off and put in warm oven for a couple minutes. I coated them liberally with Crisco and then put them on the grill at 300-350deg F for a hour and a half. The coating baked nice and hard. We will see how they hold up.

I like the product but I had an event and planned to grill. I ordered with a guarantee to that it items would arrive a day before the event. It did not arrive until a day after. Disappointed. When I finally used it. The product is a good replacement for OEM.
