Habe mir das Schloss wegen dem langen Bügel gekauft und weil es mit langem Bügel und dennoch hoher Dicke wenig bezahlbare Möglichkeiten gibt.Ich bin fast voll zufrieden. Das einzige Manko ist ein beigelegter Schlüssel, welchen man benötigt um den Zahlencode zu definieren (ist ja ein Zahlenschloss!). Man muss den Schlüssel erst fest hinein drücken (es klickt leicht) um den Code ändern zu können. Wenn man es weiss ist es sehr einfach. Allerdings ist keinerlei Anleitung dabei und da man den Schlüssel ja recht weit reinstecken kann "ohne Klicken" habe ich das natürlich gemacht und vergeblich versucht in zu drehen. Da der Schlüssel im Gegensatz zum Schloss sehr sehr dünn ist, habe ich ihn dabei annähernd zerstört. Eine Anleitung könnte viel helfen bzw. löst die Konkurrenz das oft ohne Schlüssel, was ich noch eleganter finde.

This is a strong padlock and the numbers are easy to read and to turn, although as they are along the bottom edge of the padlock I find I have to crouch down to see them when it's on the gate. However the instructions for setting and operating the padlock are printed on a tiny strip of paper in several languages in such minute print as to almost need a magnifying glass to read. The padlock itself was extremely stiff at first, very difficult to open and close, until plenty of silicone lubricant had been worked into it. It's important to use silicone lubricant, ( or colloidal graphite if you can get it) rather than oil, as these lubricants are waterproof and will last longer than oil. So if you haven't got any, you may need to add a can to your order.Our padlock is now set up with its new combination and has become easy to open and close and I expect it will last for a very long time. Would have been five stars if instructions were in bigger print and padlock had come pre- lubricated.
