Building a champion review
Building a champion is a must read for any serious players and coaches. I haven't read a book about tennis that covers so many areas (technique, strategy, point construction, psychology of the game for coaches and players, and environmental factors for building a champion) and also be so thorough with the information. Being a former player myself, I can attest that Daniel has played at a very high level. After reading this book it is clear that his coaching and knowledge of the game is top notch also. A book that covers the ins and outs of coaching and playing

Building a Champion
Building a Champion is beyond great its all you need when it comes to a winning formula. I could not put it down. Coach McCains in depth coverage of the game of tennis is right on!!!! He has the experience to introduce areas of the game and strokes development to elevate all players as well as compete at very high levels. Very easy to understand with indepth pictures of the pros and examples to help us cover it on our own. A must have for the serious tennis player and coaches.

The Kindle edition is terrible ..
The formatting of the kindle edition is terrible. No human has ever checked the outcome of the scanning machine. It was just moved to the download section for 10$.Newcomers to kindle would avoid kindle books at all, if this book would be their first impression. The book is great, just go for the paper version.

Kindle format is bad
I have read many tennis books in my life. This book has something to offer but it has 2 problems:1. If you are planning to buy it on kindle then Don't! It is ok on the iPad kindle application but terrible on the kindle device itself. I have both so the comparison is hands on. I am not sure about the print format.2. The material offered in the book is half the book's size, i.e. there is a lot of repetition of the same information through out the book. Some useful stuff every now & then but it is not enough to make it a good book.

Bought this book with an open mind
Ive read a lot of tennis books, so if I see a book with good reviews on amazon, I usually check it out. I was happy with my purchase and I don't have any negative comments on the content. It actually had some really good insight at the beginning of the book. I recommended the book to some of my player's parents and other coaches. I especially like the section on environment, and the last section on tactics and strategy.

Loved it
Definitely a unique read. Worth getting. This one is more editorial from author's perspective than the new one momentum, which is more journalistic with interviews and so on. Cool insight in this one.
