This is not Rice-a-Roni
This is an excellent product. It is for making khichdi, a very fundamental Ayurvedic dish. It is meant to be neutral. There are numerous recipes available to show cooks how to season it according to what they seek to rebalance in their diet. This is considered to be cleansing and purifying in its' unadorned state.

great dish without any additives to make it taste good. You can serve it just as cooked.

A Great Combo
A great combination of Basmati brown rice and Quinoa--tastes was great and price was also really good. A lot of uses but particularly with some of my Indian dishes that I like.

Lentils taste like chemicals
Off flavor threw the entire Jr away.Lentils tasted like they were treated with some chemical.

DISLIKE RINSING RECOMMENDATION...WAY TOO TIME-CUMBERSOME FOR ME. I DID NOT FOLLOW RECOMMENDATION...RATHER I COMBINED RICE/QUINOA & WATER AND BROUGHT TO SLOW BOIL ON MEDIUM-LOW HEAT. CERTAINLY COOKED FINE. SEEMS TO TASTE FINE. SO FAR I'VE SUFFERED NO ILL EFFECTS.

You must flavor this product however you want to.
I used it to add to a meal. It is bland by itself, but adds texture and nutrition to any meal. Add your own flavorings/spices.

Full of protien
It look like a great product and I like the protien content but once I received a near to expired product i stop using it.
