Works great for catfish!
I bought these for kingfish but I had some left over and one night I was fishing for catfish with live bait and nothing was bitting. So I add a piece of fishbites to the hook with the live bait and in 5 minutes I had a 17lbs blue cat on the line. I keep on catching fish on that rod but none on my other two until I added the fishbites. Then I stared catching fish on all my rods. It work for blue cats, Flatheads and channels.

Impressive
I'm not the typical, artificial type fisherman. But another avid fisherman friend recommended these and I was skeptical. I held out till one trip to a local fishing pier and a strange inebriated lady casually recommended fishbites. "If this lady can land some fish, maybe I'll try some." Our following trip to the coast proved quite fruitful. These fishbites landed several keepers and huge black drum. AND THE FISHBITES WERE STILL ON THE HOOK! These things are tough and come in different flavors. I didn't taste them but they are different colors. All in all, every fishing trip I go on now will involve fishbites. I am super impressed.

Tough little guys
These are tough little things and really do stay on even if retrieved through thick weeds. Would like to comment on how they perform as a bait but have only used them twice at the shore of our property on the Bay of Fundy not knowing the feasibility of catching anything there.
