This Earth Stuff acne spot treatment works pretty well for daughter #1's mild outbreaks. I can't say how well it would do for cystic spots, but your run-of-the-mill acne is taken care of. She particularly likes the vanishing cream. It's not a miracle cure, but you can see a difference even after one day, and within 2-3 days, the spot is pretty much completely gone. It also only takes a tiny little dab, so this little tiny jar goes a long way. With that in mind, I'd have to say the cost is reasonable for the quality and quantity.

Anyone with cystic acne knows that you'll try ANYTHING to get rid of it. I was excited to try this, but when it arrived, I was really hesitant to try it because it really looked homemade.The packaging literally looks like the labels were printed on a home computer and slapped on some bottles from the drug store. But I was desperate so eventually I worked up the courage to try it and it seems to be two variations of tea tree oil, which typically does less than nothing to my cystic acne.Perhaps not surprisingly, it didn't do anything to my acne. Given the homemade style packaging, I am not even sure I trust the ingredient list or that its been tested for safety or efficacy, so I would pass on these.

I'm comparing this with a drying lotion that I've used in the past. Overall, the scent is great the texture feels like a balm than a cream or lotion. I apply it once at night before bed and keep it on. In my opinion, this seems to dry out the pimple or the cyst faster than the drying lotion. Id say 2-3 days... Depending on the problem spot, I'd have to use the drying lotion 2x a day for 3-5 days. This balm also did not sting the area or cause any overly dry patches when compared to the drying lotuon. I'm going to keep trying it and see if it continues to yield the same result (faster drying to eliminate the problem)

this is a decent spot treatment for any zits that show up and i’ve enjoyed using it. i’m not sure how effective this would be for someone who suffers from acne tho. if you get occasional pimples like i do tho, it’s good! the worst is in the summer for me when i get tiny bumps along my forehead from the sweat and heat, and this has helped with that along with some other spot treatments products i alternate with. i have slightly sensitive skin and it didn’t irritate or cause any negative reactions but i would still check the ingredients and spot test if you’re more sensitive. overall this was a pleasant find and you get 2 different types for $15. good deal!

In the spirit of full disclosure, I have only had the opportunity to try these on regular smaller pimples as I've been lucky enough not to have sprout any cystic acne for a good while. From my personal experience, both of these worked quite well. They've also worked rather fast. Both pots are a little different but I wasn't able to tell if one was any better than the other. They are both good and I have had very good results with them.Honestly, I believe that cystic acne needs to be addressed internally with hormonal treatments, diet, and other things that might be affecting one's problem. With that said, I do think that these creams might help with some of those issues, but it most likely will depend on one's personal health and whatever might be going on. These creams will help with lesser breakouts and may very well help with the cystic outbreaks. Good to have on hand to try to nip any outbreaks in the bud.

I got these for my teen son who has just begun having little break outs. These are interesting products, and I like the ingredients, but they are not our favorite.First, the overnight treatment version smells musty - not like dirt, but like something that's been left in the fridge too long. The other smells pleasant enough, but neither of them seem to work very well.
