OIF BT4510 Big and Tall Swivel/Tilt Mid-Back Chair, Height Adjustable T-Bar Arms, Black

I've had this chair for 1 1/2 years now, so I feel that I can comfortably comment on it's performance, and other features. I bought it because I gave my wife my other office chair, and I needed a new one. Much like the chair I gave to my wife, I wanted another chair that was primarily sturdy and strong, and not going to break down. I weigh 215 pounds and with lighter-duty chairs I wear them down in a year or two, and they go crooked on me, or lose certain functionalities.So, I looked specifically for a chair that advertised it was strong and could hold a lot of weight. I looked for something that could hold a lot more than my 215 pounds - overbuilt for my purposes. I found the chairs for big and tall people - ones that were also reasonably priced. At only about $230, this chair is definitely reasonably priced. Then, I looked at factors such as what the chair is made of, and the3 weight of the chair. This one weighs 64 pounds, which is much more than most other office chairs, and that's because of the extra steel in its frame. I read the chair's description and saw that it supports up to 450 pounds! It has a thickly cushioned seat and back, and it raises higher than most other chairs. Lastly, I looked at the seat dimensions and saw that it's very wide when compared to other chairs. Everything was looking very good at this point.I decided to read some reviews. I read reviews from people who said they were very tall, and weighed up to 450 pounds, and those reviews were quite positive. I decided to buy the chair. It shipped very quickly, and when it arrived, I was impressed at how few parts there were, and how easy it was to put together. I've put many chairs together, and some have been nightmares of tiny parts and washers and things that can be forgotten during assembly. Not this chair - it has a minimum of parts, and it goes together easily. I snapped it all together, and rolled it onto my vinyl floor mat in front of my computer desk. I sat on it and adjusted the height (it goes high!) and I was impressed again. I've been using the chair now for 2 1/2 months, and I remain impressed. It's a great chair. There is never any creaking or straining from my weight. I rate the chair 5 Stars.

This would have been a perfect purchase if the bolts had not been stripped out on the bottom of the chair. The bolt would neither tighten nor could I remove them as the nut portion of the bolt is inside the bottom of the chair. This chair is exceptionally heavy and returning it will be a challenge as i will have to cut the bolts first then get someone to help me load and unload it. I attempted to contact the seller but i was not able to get anything resolved. I simply wanted to replace the seat portion.Update: amazon customer service was wonderful they was going to have the item picked up out of the box and a new one delivered free of charge. But since the chair was not available they issued me a full refund and told me to do what I want with it. I have chose to simply drill a few holes in the bottom to access the bolts and fix the chair myself. Its now been fixed and the chair is strong as can be and super comfortable. Happy camper for sure! I would not hesitate to purchase again amazon rocks!

I am both big (over 300 lb) and tall (6'4") and this is bar none, the best chair for someone like me. I am a computer programmer by trade and spend a lot of my downtime gaming, and this chair can definitely stand up to prolonged use. It is very comfortable, the seat is both wide and deep, and I feel very secure that it is going to support me. I actually bought two of these chairs - not because there were problems with the first one, but because I have two computer desks (one for work and one for play) and I got sick of rolling the chair between them.I have put together 3 or 4 different computer chairs in my time, and this one was by far the simplest to do. As others have mentioned, it CAN be put together by one person (and I am definitely not in peak physical shape), but the last step is easier if you have someone to help you.As befits a chair that is capable of supporting heavy people, the chair is bulky, and does not roll great over deep carpeting. If you live in an older house with narrow doorways you might struggle moving it from room to room. If at all possible, put it together in the room you're going to be using it in, and it'll take good care of you.I cannot recommend this chair enough to people who are looking for a durable big and tall chair that needs to withstand long-term use.

Sturdy chair, feel very secure in it but it is way too stiff and uncomfortable sitting in it. Has very dense cushions and sits a little too high for me and really hurts my thighs. After this much time I’m just trying to get my money’s worth and use it but every day I wish I had purchased something different.

Chair was fine,good back support. But I've had it a year and a half now and it's started to not stay up. I'll adjust it all the way up and as I sit in it, it keeps getting lower. Not good when I'm disabled with bad knees; I get stuck in the chair and can't get up. I'm over 100 lbs lighter than the weight limit so you'd think this wouldn't happen.
