This is an inexpensive solar fountain. My bird bath container is shallow so I took a deeper pet food bowl, put it in my bird bath and put the solar fountain in the bowl. The first nozzle I selected spewed water outside of the bowl and bath but I played with other nozzles until I found the shallow "bubbler" which works really well. It went, "bloop, bloop bloop" but a few weeks later we had some work done on our trees which thinned them out and let more sun in and the next time I looked, it was bubbling regularly. In other words the sun really makes a difference in how much this fountain works. Bottom line, I wanted my bird bath to make a bit of noise to attract the birds and the birds are landing on my bird bath where they never did before. I like it. I recommend it.

I like it. It’s solar, but the wanter fountain is intermittent. If it’s cloudy it doesn’t run. If the clouds are floating by it goes on and off. Kind of funny really, but not a fountain to use if you want a non stop bubbler. I also couldn’t use the heads that came with it as they would throw the water out of the bird bath. I had to rig up a plastic straw to put on it so the water stayed in the bird bath! But I still like it! Not sure about longevity, but I guess we’ll find out!

I have this little floating fountain sitting in my bird bath to keep the water moving. Only downside is that it empties all the water from the bath if there is the slightest wind. This could just be because the diameter of my bird bath is small and that is fine. What has really impressed me is that this thing is still going! My bird bath is currently partly frozen but with the sun out it is still working! Great, fun little product!

This Fountain is so easy to use. Just make sure it has enough water. Solar powered so no batteries or power issues. The birds love hanging out in the bath. It worked as the snow was melting and on warm, sunny days. I purchased another but haven't made the bird bath yet.

I did everything as per instructions, this doesn't hold any charge, it doesn't work. I've been busy with the holidays and haven't had time to return it. Plus switching containers cleaning it, doing everything as you suggested. It's an inferior product.

I have bought three of these over a period of time. They are fun but only last about a year before the straws break, the pump stops working, or the solar panels cloud over. I would buy them again with the knowledge it isn’t going to work for ever

I just ordered a birdbath and this little fountain. For $10.99, I was not expecting to be impressed. But I am- I put this in a bin of water to test it out... and carried it to the back door- once I got into direct sun, I got a face full of water... DUH!! LOL It works great. When things get a bit cloudy or you get to shade, it definitely slows and stops, so make sure you optimize your location. But, we just want to keep the birdbath water moving, and this will be great. You are not going to be disappointed.

I found that it has to be in sun continuously to work, otherwise will just pulsate the water through instead of a steady stream. So sunny days it works great, otherwise not as much. I did watch a video (on YouTube) as to how to clean the filter, which I would suggest, otherwise I’d never have figured it out!

Bought one of these two years ago, and decided to get another one for this coming summer. I put it in a deep planter filled with water and it was lovely to watch all summer. Tried it in a birdbath but the birdbath was too shallow.

This was really poor. It spurts out low volume in full sun.
