Old El Paso White Corn Gluten Free Tortilla Wraps 208g (Pack of 8)

Great gluten-free tortillas perfect texture and size for tacos. The best taste when toasted, 2min in air fryer and they turn out perfect. Good value for money, I got the box for £14, which is cheaper than most supermarkets. Sometimes I take 2, put an egg inside and fillings on top - the best dinner with a side of veg.

These are probably the best value gluten free wraps around at the moment at under £2 per packet if you buy in bulk but be warned they are small at only 21g each and 5.5” (13.5cm) in diameter. The good news is they are therefore low calorie at only 51kcal per wrap. Aside from the usual Mexican uses or as a replacement for sandwiches we use as a low calorie/ gluten free pizza base. Preheat your pizza stone / tray then allow wrap a couple of mins in oven before sparingly adding usual toppings - you’ll need 2 or 3 per person and might need to eat with a knife and fork but compared to gluten free pizza bases just as tasty and a fraction of the price. What annoys me about these products is a few years ago corn tortillas which are naturally gluten free (e.g. Discovery /Santa Maria used to sell yellow corn tortillas in B&M) were the same price as wheat ones, now they’re twice or even 4 times the price and the NHS no longer provides staple foods for coeliacs on prescription.

So impressed by these I’ve been trying to find locally gluten free with no luck do took a gamble and ordered this and I’m so impressed, long use by date on them and they taste amazing they are ideal for making tortillas they are the size of a side plate and we toast them in a frying pan , very versatile and actually cheaper ordering. Bulk. Than trying to hunt down the gluten free alternative brands locally , would recommend this if your gluten free dietary

I'm sorry. Not even near the flavour and consistency of real corn tortillas. They go hard very quickly after warming them.

Taste like ancient mould. Like its been stored in a damp place for decades. Texture & flavour just wrong!

These are smaller than standard wraps. But they are flexible, wrap well, soft, tasty and I believe excellent value. These are a must have for for anyone looking for gluten free replacements that are high quality, or just for anyone wanting something different to the norm.
