Best socks for travel
I've bought about 8 different brands of socks searching for the perfect pair. This is it! The only disadvantage is the cost, but to me it is worth it. I used to just wear them for flying, and now I just pack 4 pair and wear one pair and use them all week long. I have hand washed them in a hotel sink with great results too. They are very comfortable, easy to put on, look great (like black thin business-formal socks), and don't mash the toes! Many of the compression socks either squeeze the toes too hard, or have a huge slack area in the toes which folds over is uncomfortable.I have 2 tricks with these socks:1) When putting them on, don't pull hard on the foot area - let the toe area be a little less tight - if you pull too hard you will squeeze the toes a bit.2) Don't pull hard right on the top of the sock were there is a top seam at the opening. I have heard the threads breaking when I have pulled up hard. Instead, pull up on the whole sock by grabbing more material. The socks are thin so there is a bit of see-through to the skin around the ankle, but no more than other thin dress socks.
