Paint comes off BLSA version without a fish hit
Bought two of these at WalMart or another sporting goods store a couple weeks back and used at the Coronados on the SAN DIEGO fishing for YT and Barracuda. Bought the 2.5oz versions of BLSA and MAC. Fishing was slow but made a number of surface casts anyway, first with MAC, then with BLSA blue/silver jig. MAC jig ran well and came back ok though no fish hits. BLSA version started losing paint on top after three cast/retrieves. Half of top paint was gone after ten casts so put it away. Disappointed with integrity of product. Didn't keep receipt so can't get make good. Maybe Dan Hernandez will read this review and see he has a problem with manufacturing in the BLSA color pattern.

Works Great!!
Have been using magic metals and B-52 bucktails for the last 2 years and can honestly say that they produce. Have caught calicos, barracuda and a yellowtail with the Magic Metals and have done great with the B-52s on lings and sculpin. Make sure to add a strip of squid to the B-52 for best results. Have not had a problem with any paint falling off.
