Very impressed with this. Tines are sturdy and nicely balanced between soil removal and minimal root damage, Good weight to it and well worth the cost. It's also beautiful, which is awesome as it also functions. Using it in conjunction with a traditional root pick, I'm very happy with it.

I bought these for teasing out roots on root-bound plants that I plant in my garden. I work with the local Master Gardeners and use it for cleaning up potted plants. They work great!

Be advised that this tool has sharp edges to the point it is uncomfortable to use. I'm not even going to bother returning it, it is going into the trash can. The only positive is that it was delivered on time.

I have huge hands and I can hold and use the tool easily. I have a root hook that cost 3 times as much and I never use it

I ordered two of these Bonsai tools, one for me and one for wife. Great doe detailed and general Bonsai work.

Very happy with this tool. Repotting a store bought plant from garden soil to bonsai soil is the least likable part to bonsai but this tool makes it lots better. Makes you look and feel like you know what you’re doing. And that’s always good.
