The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Father Christmas

An excellent book, as you would expect from anything featuring the very hungry caterpillar. Bought for my other half who loves the VHC, aged 28 and 1/4 but probably fine for younger readers also. Its brilliantly illustrated and a good introduction to counting, and finding the very hungry caterpillar in each page is quite fun, given he's very appealingly drawn!

A perfect book for little hands to hold when learning to count. I can't wait for my 19mth old son to wake up so we can read this together. Lovely pictures and fun to find the caterpillar on each page.

Fab book, arrived quickly and is a well lived book

Cute little Christmas story, but it doesn't really feature the caterpillar in the story. So be warned if thats why you are ordering it!

Beautiful illustrations

Beautiful book, hence the 3 stars, but so disappointed that the caterpillar doesn't eat anything and doesn't even get a mention until the last page.Little ones will enjoy finding the caterpillar in each picture though.

A sweet short story for toddlers but the caterpillar could have been a bit bigger as he's very small to see

A little bit disappointing as the Hungry Caterpillar isn't actually involved in the story, you can just spot him on each page. However, lovely illustrations as always and the typical story of Father Christmas getting ready to deliver presents on Christmas Eve.

I'd bought another Christmas counting book for my students and the objects were so widespread that after the set of 3 was added in it was an I Spy game just to locate the next X numer of objects that were added on. This book has a very simple presentation that makes it much easier for my students to practice their counting skills.
