I've used these knives with my china settings and the guests talked about the knives. I've had these 3 years and every time I bring them out for special guests or family events, they are a topic of conversation. Everyone is impressed! The knife sheath gives an air of 'specialness' and I leave them on for place settings. The first thing you notice is the weighted handle. I saw a complaint on someone's review about the weight of the knife, but I think it says quality and the cool, weighted handle feels good in your hand. It's easy to hold. When you slide the sheath off, you see a beautiful Damascus design on the blade, which adds to the Mosaic pin in the handle in solidifying its attractiveness and overall special feel of the knife. And finally, the best part, it slides through steak like silk. I've never sharpened mine and they're still amazingly sharp. I just ordered a second set to round out my dinnerware collection. I love them!

These knives are extremely well made and have maintained a very sharp edge over the last couple months. The overall quality, fit and finish is excellent. The only critique is that it’s hard to determine if the “Damascus” pattern is authentically created in the forging process - or if it’s some kind of laser or chemical etching. If it’s ‘fake’, I would have been happier without the design. The quality of the steel is up-front and clear. The weight and balance of the knife is excellent, and the ergonomics of the handle are very good. What these knives give you is incredible value that I don’t believe you’ll be able to find once more goods are manufactured back at home in the U.S., and fewer are imported from China. But I’m okay with that. I would be willing to pay almost double for the same quality knives made in the U.S., with equivalent steel.

The knives arrived yesterday, in good condition. The overall weight of these knives is impressive. I have not used them yet, but the edge on them is like a razor, time will tell if they will hold up.

To start, I own many $300+ knives (EDC and kitchen) so I'm a bit picky with my knives. I hadn't seen many reviews for these so I took a shot on them. Overall I was initially impressed with the quality. The knives are decently made and use high end materials. The shortfall for the knives comes in the details. First off, the handles are really heavy. They may be small knives but they are not light and it makes them feel odd in the hand. The G10 was non-uniformly sanded down so that the area around the rivets was higher than the other parts of the handle, giving them a lumpy feel. There is also a bit of small imperfections like gaps between the G10 and steel but those are forgivable for the price. Overall, I'm satisfied with the knives but not blown away. They are pretty to look at and will work for steak knives but don't expect to be too impressed with these. The pattern on the blade is visible and the mosaic pin looks great. *Edit: My original review was based on the $135 I spent on them. Since then, I was offered a refund of $30. Now, at $26 a knife, these are much easier to recommend. I will keep my 3/5 review though because most people will be purchasing the knives for ~$135,

I was considering ordering some of those cheap wood handle serrated knife sets you see used in steak houses. When I saw these I decided the non-serrated knives were actually nicer as they wouldn't destroy the meat as you were cutting it. I was concerned about the size as they looked small in the picture, but when they arrived the size was larger than appeared. Not only are they beautiful, and perfectly balanced, they also add to the enjoyment of eating a steak. These would make great gifts for any meat-eater you know. Packaged beautifully, and trust me - the quality is spot on. Extremely sharp. Be careful when opening them, one slipped out of its plastic wrap and cut me as it fell. Also the sheaths included are absolutely necessary, as you cannot leave these rolling around in a draw. Planning on purchasing another few sets for entertaining.
