The 100G QSFP28 DAC Cable is a high-performance, passive direct-attach copper cable designed for short-distance connections, providing a reliable and cost-effective solution for establishing 100-Gigabit links between QSFP-100G ports in data centers. Each cable is rigorously tested to ensure optimal performance and compatibility.

Good cable, works, a bit stiff
Works perfectly between a Juniper router and Arista switch, when a competitor’s wasn’t even properly recognized. We have a pair of these cables running a 200Gbps link aggregation between the two devicesDressing this neatly is a bear because it is so thick and stiff, but that’s par for the course with DACs, especially at these speeds. They stick too far out of the front of the device with a bend radius that just won’t work with most cable management designed with Cat6A and fiber in mind. There’s always 100GBase-SR4 at 4x the price if it’s that a big deal. You buy DACs because they’re cheap, fast, and low power, not because they’re pretty. This one passes our tests for all three.

Worked as described.
Used to connect Cisco 6454 FIs to a pair of Nexus 93180s. Literally did nothing but replace the existing 40Gb cables with these and now we have 100Gb links where I previously had 40Gb. I have a ton of 10GTek cables in my datacenter and will continue to use the brand whenever I can.

Works well on 40bgbe NIC
Runs well on Connectx-3 40gbe cards. unsure of 100GbE speeds, but likely fine

It works
Connect the cable between 2 Mellanox 40GbE cards and it works.

SFP connector is broken
When I received the DAC cable, the package is in good condition but the SFP connector is heavily broken.

Works Perfect with Mellanox 40GbE Cards
This cable was priced very competitively and worked exactly as intended. I used this cable to connect two Mellanox 40GbE cards in a Windows Sever 2016 Failover cluster. Each sever showed a link within moments of physically connecting the cable and I haven't had any disconnects. I am very happy with the cable and highly recommend it.

Good value
The construction quality is decent. Two smaller bundles to each QSFP28 connector makes it flexible and easier to route. However, both pairs to each 50G QSFP28 connector are labeled “1 & 2” (which isn’t really useful). It’d be better if one pigtail was labeled “3 & 4”...for now it’s a guessing game.
