Why did it take me so long to find this!
Love this product. I used it the first day when I got it. Don't know why it took me so long to look for one. It is very sturdy made and easy to clean. I'll never cut up spam with a knife again. Amazing!!!!

Not durable at all
I barely used it because we don’t cook spam often. It broke after about 10 uses. I only used it to slice hard boiled eggs and spam.

Good for what it is.
It’s better than hand slicing. The wires are a little loose after the first wash, but it still works. I’m pretty sure any brand will have the same issue. I do wish the spacing was a little tighter, but this was the highest slice count I could find. I just prefer my spam slices a little thinner. But it is just fine for what it is.

Works as promised. Slicing SPAM is a breeze with this.
I bought this to slice SPAM but can see many different foods it would work with.It worked for my SPAM very well with very little effort. Wires are holding up so far and I'm glad I bought this particular product because it is very solid/a quality product. The plastic isn't "flimsy" it's a very sturdy plastic. I can see where after months or years of use the wires -might- get loose or stretched, but I believe I'll be getting years of use from this before that happens.

Great for dehydrating
I do a lot of dehydrating. Slicing bananas, either by hand or with a traditional egg slicer, always take too much time to get them going before they brown and/or get mushy. Decided to give this a try and am glad I did. Instead of having to cut the banana into quarters to fit into a traditional slicer, this handles an entire half easily. It's also flat rather than curved, which allows for more intack slices and less unusable mush. My prep time is cut to about a 3rd what it used to take. The slices are thicker than before so they take a bit longer to dehydrate, but it's worth it to have more of the banana to dehydrate rather than tossing mush and having them not be turning brown so quickly.

Works
Being a bit OC I like the twelve slices, one can o spam to a dozen eggs lol!My only concern is it’s a little delicate for slicing spam, it does the job but you have to be easy. You can’t be slicing spam like eggs, you kinda have to gradually work it one corner then the other n slow.I’ve used it three times and it seems it will hold up better than the first impression.I’d like to see one that has like knives instead of music wire but it works.
