Is the bar mat pvc or is it rubber? the description says pvc rubber, but they are different materials.

Is this ok for several hours use on white quartz countertop?

Title reads 18x12 but Product information -> Product Dimensions reads 17.72 x 15.35 x 0.31 inches ; which is it?

These mats come with a definite chemical smell. I’ve washed them once and it is still there. Does it eventually go away? How have people handled this?
