A year ago, in a local grocery store, I got a sample of mashed potatoes with this this exact truffle salt. I bought it immediately! The truffle flavor combined with the smoked flavor is the most perfect combination ever and in my household, there is no such thing as mashed potatoes without this product. Don't get me started on beef and grilled veggies...It's that much of a game changer - for any dish!Mine lasted a year - The flavor is strong enough that a dash or two is all I need to add enough flavor to a pot of food.Couldn't find it locally anymore, but thankfully found it here. About the same price.If you think it's a bit much for truffle salt, know that there's no comparison to any other brands. Not everyone likes the earthy taste of truffles, but for me this stuff is GOLD. I sprinkle it on veggies, eggs, anything. Smoked salt also really nice. I think I am on my fourth bottle of the stuff. Highly recommend.

Combining truffle and smoke flavors sounded great. Unfortunately, the very strong smoke flavor completely overpowered the truffle flavor, and this was way overpriced for just a smokey salt. I'm on to the next one on my list looking for a truffle salt with a detectible truffle flavor.
