In the order of how often I'd use them, whether the lights were easy to install, the quality of the lights, how long the battery lasted, and other comments I had on them: I would use these on my bike every 2 weeks or so on night-time rides on campus and would ride around for anywhere between 2 to 5 hours long. The lights were sometimes a pain to install, but then again, I would install them in the dark surrounded by the other bikes in close proximity; if you aren't cramped like I was when installing the lights, it would be far easier to install the lights. On the occasions that I did not install them cramped having to worry about hitting other bikes, the process would take me about 3-7 minutes, otherwise it would take about 10-15 minutes. It's just setting up the plastic rubber bands on the center of your bike (axle? I only cared about brakes and whether my tires had air), looping the thin wire down to be near the edge of the rims, and looping the wire up and down over each of the metal tire line things. See the end for additional comments. The lights themselves were bright and did not diminish in intensity during the 8 months or so that I used them. They were easily noticeable and helped in being seen when walking my bike through intersections at night. They were also bright and a nice green, nearly as bright as advertised (the advertisement has them to show as blinding X^D). I do not remember if they came with batteries but surprisingly, I don't think I ever had to swap out the batteries during the time I used them. As I mentioned before, I used these lights for about 8 months for anywhere between 2-5 hours every two weeks or so. Finally, my final opinion on these lights are that they are great and that I would buy them again. One thing to note is that you should not install them when stressed or tug on the wires hard as that is how I broke one of two that I purchased. The light still works and I am sure I can add something to prevent any accidents, but do be aware that the wires are a bit fragile. They are not cheaply made though, but should still be treated with some care. I hope this helped some of you, have a good one.

These lights are AMAZING! Our family rides at dusk to dark every evening due to work schedules. Not only do they keep us much safer as we are highly visible and provide lots of light in what would be dark bikes trails, but they look really cool. We have received so many compliments and had a lot of other cyclists ask us about them and where to get them. We actually carry post-its in our bike bag that have the name of the company and the amazon link for them. We have bought several for friends & family members as well as a Christmas gift. We posted the above photo on our facebook along with a link to amazon to get the lights as well. I would also like to add that out of 11 different sets (22 boxes of lights) that we have bought we only had issues with 3 strings. They looked used when they arrived so possibly we received lights that had been returned to amazon, which would be an amazon issue not the seller. However we reached out to Activ lites and let them know about the lights that were not working right, and within 3 days we had 3 brand new boxes of lights and a letter apologizing for the bad lights. That is excellent customer service right there buddy!! BUY THESE LIGHTS for you, your kids, your friends & everyone and lets light up the bike trails one bike at a time!! You won’t be sorry. They are super easy to install, they come with the zip ties pre-installed and if you have to move them for some reason they even send a 2nd set of zip ties, as well as the batteries for the lights. Got one red set for one wheel for my son's bike. Looked really great so decided to order another box for the other wheel. I also bought a set of green lights for a gift for his buddy. They will for sure be the talk of the town with their cool new lights. Even I as an adult find them really cool to look at. I would have loved these as a kid. The faster you go, the cooler the lights look. Like a ring of fire (red lights). I would recommend for any child. Too bad they don't make them in pink. My daughter would love those. no idea how durable since just got them and not sure how will stand the rain. Also concerned about them being stolen from his bike when he locks the bike up at camp. Might draw attention. We shall see.
