Great question. Depending on your needs, there are two great leave-ins that you may use. Knot On My Watch is a great leave-in conditioner, for anyone who may have issues with tangling. And our Quench is a leave-in moisturizer that is awesome to use before applying the Don't Shrink. Hope this helps. Have an awesome day.

Q: What is this? Im under the impression its some kind of gel

It’s not a gel, it’s a thick cream, very good with moisturizing the hair for very dry hair that is hard to retain moisture. Like type 4 hair.

Q: Do you rinse out the curl whip?

I did not rinse and my hair is not curly (it is stick straight). My daughter recommended this product that she uses for her very curly haired girls. My hair had gotten quite dry from processing and coloring, so I used it to help it look more tame. Although this product is for black hair, I am white (which means awful hair! haha) and this product worked well for me.

Nice heavy cream

It moisturizes curly hair and add a heavy layer to protect it from getting frizzy (preferably to be paired with a gel after), but the smell is really not good it smells like organic butter right out of a pharmacy. But it’s a really good leave in cream
