Effective Echo Reduction with Convenient Mounting
The Elgato Wave Panels Starter Set (White) has made a noticeable difference in reducing the echo in my small room (around 6 sqm). The six acoustic treatment panels significantly cutting down on unwanted noise. I appreciate that these panels come with mounting frames, as I didn't want to stick glue anything directly to the wall. However, the frames can be a bit flimsy during assembly, so be careful while setting them up. Overall, I'm really happy with them.

Limited sound dampening
I used this product in my living room to dampen the sounds from our soundbar as the room is below my daughters. The sound is slightly dampened but not as much as I was expecting.I also stuck the frames to the wall directly then tried to remove them to adjust the angulation and unfortunately the glue took off the plaster on the wall.I’ve also tried to put these behind a canvas painting which works well behind one but unfortunately is too think behind the other.

Unusably bad, delicate, uncountable.
First. If you touch the frames you’re risking breaking them. The joints that snap together are absolutely dlyerrible. They’re paper thin and randomly snap apart. So factor in the cost of superglue because they won’t last.I’d love to talk all about the reverb dampening properties, but whatever bootleg command strips they ship with these panels are absolutely useless and within a couple of hours after Placing them (after appropriate cleaning), everything fell Off, taking a webcam and microphone out, and, you guessed it, snapping the plastic. The plastic joints that also snapped form Its own weight of me picking it up on one side.Cheap. Rubbish. The things are overpriced, delicate, piles of awful.Oh and customer support is non existent too.

Decent, but not worth the price.
Overall good quality, and have a noticeable impact... But let's be honest, the pricing is an absolute joke. Yes they are easier to install with their plastic framing, but that in no way makes up for the price. RRP should be no more than £60-70, especially considering you only get 6 panels.

Expensive and only made a subtle difference
I’ve put 6 of these panels up in my office hoping to kill some of the reverb from the room but they’ve not really had a noticeable difference

Higher price gets better quality
I had some acoustic tiles already, relatively much cheaper than this—but after 5 years of looking at them glued to the wall and unevenly aligned, I got the idea to upgrade to something that was at least nicer looking, even if not better performing (maybe they are better performing, I have no way to measure). These are it.For some reason the blue ones are like half the price of the black ones, and for 6 panels I think that lower price is okay. The panels are a pretty good size, multi-layered with different materials, and the mounting system is well conceived. Rather than try to stick adhesive to foam (which it does not want to do), you stick the plastic hex frames to the wall (very easy) then the foam snaps into the frames snugly. I wouldn’t be intimidated about moving these around if I changed my mind about their positioning.A perk of the hexes is that they make maintaining alignment a breeze. Just connect them at the sides and they’ll always be nicely aligned.By far the most time consuming part of my install was scraping the adhesive off my wall from my previous panels. Helpfully these come with a paint safe pull away strip, but I didn’t recognize the brand, so I used Command strips instead. Scissored them length-wise to get more mileage out them. Holding up no problem, the panels are pretty light.

Echo Reducing Panels, Great Wall Decor
I’ve purchased these four times at this point and every installation helps reduce the echo in my new condo. The designs are eye catching and help fill the wall space. These don’t reduce noise from one room to another, but the dual density stops echos, which previously made my living room sound like a gymnasium. These panels help make my stereo sound direct and accurate. Phone calls no longer have feedback from the room, which is great.I never bothered with the included adhesive strips and used 3 medium sized 3M Command Strips per panel (the Velcro kind). Some of these have been up close to a year now with no issue. Installation is simple and the panels can be removed from the plastic frames and repositioned as many times as you want.
