Great for the price!
Ok, after reading some other reviews I was a little skeptical of these gage blocks. Since machining is just a hobby I decided to give them a try because of the price. The wooden box isn't a fine woodworking piece (I am a cabinet builder by trade) but arrived intact and seems well built and will certainly work for me. It did take me a couple hours to unwrap and clean all 81 blocks with alcohol, I watched youtube videos while doing this. After cleaning the blocks I wrung several sets together and measured with a micrometer and the measurements were mostly dead on. I did get a couple stacks of 6-8 blocks that came 0.0001 over, could be my micrometers calibration or my hand heating it up. Close enough for my hobby use.

Very accurate for the money
Very nice hard case with rubber feet. All blocks came wrapped in protective grease paper. This set is not for inspection, but I am very pleased with the accuracy. The included certificate of inspection shows the deviation in millionth of an inch which cannot be correct. The deviations are microns. For example, 12 microns is .00078 inches, for my shop this is acceptable.

Decent set for the money
I'm a machinist by trade and I bought this set for my tool box at work. It's a decent set to have on the shop floor for gauging parts and setting gauges. The box seems to be decent quality and the fit and finish of the blocks is good and the set comes with a calibration cert. They wring together fairly easily, the one complaint I have is the markings on the blocks could be a bit deeper. As they are they're a bit on the faint side and I could see them becoming illegible after heavy use. Overall a good buy.
