I plugged one end into my Philips Brilliance 499P and the other into my MacBook Pro and it instantly worked perfectly. It is well made and a good length. I was wondering if I should buy the Apple equivalent but decided to buy this less expensive cable. Good call - thoroughly recommend this cable - it was the lowest cost 2m one I could find so I think this definitely represents good value for money. I know in theory I don't need this cable to connect my MacBook to my Philips monitor but in practice I couldn't get the USB C cable supplied with the monitor to work. If you are having a similar issue then this is probably the easiest way to resolve it and enjoy your Philipps monitor.

From what i can tell it seems to be working ok actual cables quite nice quality - paid extra to have a certified cable, was it worth it?not sure!.

My Apple Studio Display came with a woefully short 1m Thunderbolt 3 cable. A longer cable from Apple was almost 3x the price of this one. Ordered this 2m Cable Matters mid afternoon, and it was delivered later the same day. It’s really sturdy and appears to be very high quality. Works perfectly to connect the display to my MacBook Pro.

Really good cable. The cable could have been a little better but I’m guessing that would increase the price. The plastic is a bit stiff and feels brittle but it works great and is cheaper than most 2m Thunderbolt cables

For a long time now I have been using a USB-C cable with my work laptop and a Thunderbolt 3 cable with my MacBook. Finally I can replace them both with this single cable!

Failed after one month. Seems that the inevitable flexing near the port it's connected to caused intermittent contact, which resulted in uncommanded ejection of the connected device. Disappointing to say the least at this price.

Build quality is cheap feeling, the braid is a very cheap nylon, and the rubber connecting the cable to the plastic came out of the packaging already crumbling apart. Disappointed considering Cable Matters' reputation for quality

GMKtec K2とSonnet eGFX Breakaway Boxの接続に使用しています。他のケーブルでは相性問題のためか認識が不安定でしたが、このケーブルは大丈夫でした。macbook pro 2019との接続も問題有りませんでした。

I actually only needed a USB-C 3.2 cable to connect a DP over USB-C monitor to my Thunderbolt 4 laptop. With previous cables, even though basic functionality (DisplayPort, data, PowerDelivery) worked, I had issues with unreliable Dell Power Button Sync and ethernet over USB functionality. With this cable, however, everything works perfectly. I've only had the cable very shortly, but I can't find a fault. Before purchasing I contacted Cable Matters-support. They were very responsive and helpful. All in all great support and a great product. Just in case somebody wants to know: my Dell monitor's manual explained only 1 m USB-C cables were supported (to connect to my TB4 Dell Laptop) but this 2 meter TB4 cable seems to work flawlessly.

Its been over two months I've been using this. No issues, cable is working flawlessly.

I’m using this Cable Matters 40Gbps Active USB C Thunderbolt 4 2-meter cable to connect my Asus ROG Flow X16 to a Wavlink WL-UG69PD2-Pro dock, which connects to 2 external displays and my wired Ethernet connection. This cable provides the full ethernet speed where another 2-meter cable failed. The build quality also looks and feels excellent. Does what it should do, I’m a satisfied customer.
