NGK6 New Iridium IX Spark Plugs BKR5EIX-11 # 5464

Came as promised

I purchased 6 of these for my Hyundai Azera 2006 3.8L V6. I chose to stay with this brand and type plug because the Hyundai factory original NGK Iridium plugs lasted 160,000. Yes....160,000 miles before I decided to pay the labor to replace them. In my Hyundai V6, the engine is mounted sideways so the front 3 plugs are a breeze but the back 6 require quite a bit of labor to remove parts to get to them. I finally had the dealer do these while replacing valve gasket covers. This was expensive but necessary as I finally noticed a bit of rough idle and loss of about 1-2 mpg.I never expected more than just a better idle but I was amazed at both the power increase and MPG increase. The Azera V6 was already a pretty quick engine but after the new plugs I actually need to be much lighter on the gas pedal or I will get those front tires spinning. I am not sure how long my engine will last but if these plugs are half as durable as the first, they will most likely be the last plugs I ever need for this car.I strongly suggest buying these since you won't want to pay the shop to keep replacing those rear plugs at shorter intervals.In addition, the dealer provided me with the old original 160,000 mile plugs and they possibly could have been cleaned up and re-used!I realize that the condition of your engine will also determine your performance and condition of your plugs over time but I have done minimal service on this engine and the brand and type of plugs gave me trouble free performance for way past a spark plugs normal life span.

Installed in 1997 Hilux Surf (4 Runner) 5VZFE V6, was initially concerned as these are single post plugs and Toyota has a diagram on the timing cover that shows not to use single post. This of course was put by the factory in the late 90s, so we contacted Toyota Japan and they said these plugs would work fine for the engine.They are running great so far, no complaints.Would recommend to anyone who needs.

Very happy with the item and it was exactly as described. Only thing I noted was that there seem to be some implication that mileage may improve by a fair percentage but noted no change. The product specs do seem as though I may not have to change spark plugs again because the life will likely exceed the life of the vehicle.

These work great on 2004 Toyota Tacoma (V6 4x4). I replaced the original spark plugs after 150k miles with these. No problems with the installation and she fired right up. Seems to give a little more umph but probably just in my head.
