Not that great
So. This is nice if you want a colored water tank. As for the 'swimming' jellyfish, it falls short in a lot of ways. I think overall the blowers for the water current are just too strong. They activate and rocket the jellyfish around the bowl. Just for them to drift back to the top. Then repeat. If the jets were a little weaker, to send them around more smoothly, I think it would make a difference. Secondly, the motor is really loud. Thought it would be a nice night-light for kids to fall asleep with. No way. It's kind of annoying even when you're awake. Thirdly, from time to time, the jellyfish tails do get caught in the motor. And it looks like on a couple of them, the tails are starting to peel away from the bodies. I'm guessing because of the tails being stuck. Not sure if they will last long. Finally, there is an option to run with a power cable instead of batteries. But the cable is super short! Like its impossible for it to reach anything without an extension cord.Bought as a gift. Not too excited about how it turned out.

Cute but just meh
The idea and set up are cute but it doesn't look as realistic as I thought it would. The tentacles have gotten sucked up in the motor more than once causing it to malfunction

Disappointed
After 2 months the motor died. Other than that, great gift for kids.

Disappointed
The light keeps dimming - worked fine the first day. I have recharged it to see if that helps - it doesn't.

Very nice, and realistic
I've had this for a couple of years now, and it still works great. Follow the directions in order for it to work properly. Make sure it's full, and add a few drops of dish soap. I don't have the problems that others are having with the jellyfish sticking at the top, and they rarely get stuck together. They look like they are swimming around just like they should. I put a little natural colored gravel on the bottom to make it look more realistic. It's actually very pretty, and soothing. The only complaint I have is that I wish it had a white light to set it on, or even a blue and white light mix. I mostly set it on the green and red mix, I find that to be the best color combination for me. Highly recommended.
