My dollhouse called and it wants its ravioli press back!
The squares are much smaller than one would think based on the photo. The rolling pin that is advertised next to the ravioli press is actually 1/3 the size of a regular rolling pin, don't be fooled by the photo, if you have time and the patience for rolling out and pressing one inch squares, more power to you - I thought that this would make life easier, not harder, but it still works just as it should, which is why I gave it 3 stars instead of 2.

This little gadget is perfect for the person who wants to make their own pasta and be proud of the outcome. You will need to make sure that the pasta itself is not too thick for it to adhere to the top pasta layer in addition to allowing room for filling. This is also fun to for children learning to cook. I would recommend this for easy use.

This ravioli maker has been easy to use
This ravioli maker has been easy to use. Just have to flour the press before placing the pasta dough on it and make sure the dough is not too soft. You should also use a little water to seal the top sheet onto the lower sheet before removing from the press. I use the ravioli cutter to separate the ravioli after inverting the press.

You do need to get a good pasta recipe book, and possibly a pasta machine to get the right thin-ness, but this is a cute gadget. Water can get in when you wash it however, so tilt it upright to let it out after washing, or find a way to wash without soaking it.

Easy to use with good results.
Works great. I did dust litely with flour before placing the dough in. I made professional looking raviolli in half the time my old press took me.

Close, but no cigar.
It's okay, but too shallow. It'd be a lot more fun of the wells were deeper. If you over fill the wells, even a little bit, the filling gushes out when you try and roller to top pasta onto it.
