The reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because I put the regular liquid soap in the dispenser. And when it dispenses it the soap is coming out very thin. I took the lid off & looked inside & the soap seems to still be the normal consistency in the container. So I don't know what the problem is. I think I'll try another soap & see if it makes any difference. But if it's the same issue, I may ask to return it for a refund. If the problem corrects with new soap, I'll correct this review.9/23/16 - I am amending my review & upping it to 4 stars. Still a mystery as to why the first soap didn't work well in the dispenser, but I did put in more out of a different refill bottle & it's better. Still seems to thin out some, but it's not like water now.9/13/17 - Okay, I'm changing my review to 2 stars. This dispense has quit working already. I would think about paying $22+ for it that it would last longer than a year.

This is a very nice looking soap dispenser. The only issue I have with it is you need to keep it with the dispenser over the sink, as the sensor is in the middle and is very sensitive, and will dispense soap if you get close to it! Other than that, I like the way it works and the volume controls. It is a darker stainless steel color and matches my sink faucets well.I am UPDATING my review to ONE STAR! I purchased this item on May 1, 2017. It is now May 16, 2017 and it has stopped working. DO NOT BUY

Today, March 10, 2017, one of my automatic soap dispensers that I bought from you on January 16, 2017 stopped working, I put new batteries, I cleaned it but it did not work, it definitely stopped working. As the warranty is three months I request my money back, because I was on vacation when I bought and I am not in the same place of delivery currently to make an exchange. I await a solution. Kind regards.

Granted, I've had this dispenser for about two years, but when it broke, it REALLY broke. The soap somehow leaked into the battery compartment, which destroyed my expensive eneloop rechargeable batteries.I've had two similar units for hand soap dispensing, exact same model but different brands, and overall I'd say they aren't worth it, at least not this model. They are a battery drain, and don't perform consistently. Maybe I'll look for a better model or brand, or maybe I should just get a good manual pump.

Works well...actually TOO well. I got this for the kitchen.The slightest unintentional pass in front of the infer red sensor gives you handsoap whether you want it or not...VERY sensitive! In hindsight, I would have just gotten a pump dispenser like I did for the bathrooms.

I really love this soap dispenser, however, I just returned from a trip and it had dispersed automatically the soap all over my kitchen counter and now it won't work at all. I tried changing batteries but nothing seemed to help any suggestions?

The item itself is worth 4 stars- first one was defective and the batteries kept getting soap on them. The fifth star was earned by the best customer service team I've come across- they followed up after my order, responded to my "hey guys, it's broke" response with an email saying a new one was one the way. It showed up two days later and works just fine.You guys doing customer service for Cozi Kitchen, how about showing my cable company how it's done???!! You were terrific. Thanks!

I like the dispenser. It is very easy to use. Some might find it too sensitive as I did, but to solve that problem I have turned the unit around to face the wall so that the sensor does not pick up every movement nearby. Very handy (pun intended).
