Could these be used as a safety glove while using a rotary cutter in quilting?

I've never used one, but from looking at images I would say yes, with limited contact at least. They've held against short contact with razor blades and sharp pruning shears, although both instances were short, with me pulling away quickly after contact. I wasn't applying much pressure with the razor, and the shears hit with only one blade on the side of a finger. Neither caused any visible damage to me or the gloves. The shears cut about a 1/4" deep and 3/4" long into my palm the last time they caught me being careless (without gloves).

My husband does woodworking with power tools and keeps running his fingers through the saws. Will these protect him?

DO NOT GET HIM GLOVES! He may be constantly running his fingers through saws, but if he starts wearing gloves, he will be running his hands and arms through saws. You DO NOT wear gloves when dealing with fast spinning objects. But even if you insist, these gloves will offer no better "protection" than any other fabric glove.

I'm a woman with large hands. My hand circumference is 7.25" and hand length is also 7.25". Should I get a small or large?

My hand is 7.25 from finger tip to beginning of my wrist and just over 9" around the knuckles with a large being comfortable. there is some flex in the glove so my suggestion is try the medium.
