Absolutely love
So I’m not an artist or a coloring book fanatic. I’m a knitter & wanted some colored pencils to color knitting pattern charts, bc I’m not able to just imagine it in my head. But I might actually get into some coloring books bc of these pencils … though they’re sort of too precious to use. I’m a huge sucker for presentation & these are such utter perfection I don’t want to “ruin” them with usage. The tin arrived wrapped well in a bubble mailer, with no damage to it or the sharpened pencils. I love the cute anime picture on the tin & it functions well. The shape of the pencils are also functional, as it prevents them from rolling around. The white barrel of the pencils looks so much cleaner/sleeker to me than black, or even fully matched to the lead. The little bit of the capped end that matches the lead is the perfect touch for helping to find colors without being overbearing. The lead colors are gorgeous & all look beautiful together. I love that there are several of the same colors in differing shades/tones (/tint? Idk, I’m not an artist so my terminology might be incorrect. 🤷🏻♀️). The lay down is really nice & no dust at all. They aren’t quite as “buttery” as the first pack of pencils I got (from another brand), but I actually prefer that since I can do light shading with a feather touch & more opaque color with minimal pressure. My other set is too buttery soft, so I get full on opaque color no matter how light of a touch I use (& sometimes I don’t want that). The only con to this set is that there are no color names or numbers, which I know is a big deal to some. I think it’d be nice to have some kind of distinction, but everything else is so stellar I’m willing to overlook it. I also *REALLY* wish there were bigger sets (with the white barrel) — then there’d be no reason for me to buy any other brand.

Prismacolor lovers: we have found a cheaper route!
So I tried to upload photos but it wouldn't let me... So here is from the first day and unwrapping them:This tiny of pencils was wrapped so well in protective foam layer that if it had any dents in it then they were purposefully stomping on it. So they were in PERFECT CONDITION and pre-sharpened with no broken tips. Lovely! Then I immediately notice the smoothness of the lay down of these pencils. So I go to using every single pencil to see if all the pigments layed as wonderfully as the first one tried.... They did!! I am a die hard Prismacolor Premier colored pencils girl and NOTHING I have ever tried has been up to par with them. But since the quality control in Mexico is nill... I have been looking for a cheaper alternative to Prismacolors. These are the ones! I have already ordered the 100;pack to match my Mangas. Please just give them a chance! You'll love them!

Yup, these are good
These are good. I wouldn't really call them pastel, I would say they are softer colors. They are soft core but not overly soft. They are beautiful to look at with their white barrels and color capped ends. Marco is a good brand in the art/coloring world. They are prices appropriately for the most part. Overall, there is nothing bad to say about them. If you are in the market for a softer color palette of pencils, go ahead and try these.

ASMR Unboxing Marco Chroma Manga Color Pencil Video:
The media could not be loaded. It felt light in my hand very smooth I can see myself using this often. I would give your product a 5 star BUT one came broken which put me off a little, I don't know if that will effect the entire pencil's life. A little upset by that considering how it was a tiny bit pricey from other color pencils. Other than that great product!!YouTube Channel Name:Keilda Red Ink

PRETTY COLORS!
I am very sad to say I don't love these. I absolutely love the colors, but as pencils, they are not that great. You have to use a lot of pressure to get a really good color lay down, and that in turn makes them break. I really wanted to like these. I'll keep them because the colors really are pretty. I just wish they were creamier.

Worth the Money
I’ve tried a few different pencil brands and these are wonderful. They are smooth and not scratchy at all. I’ve tried them in a few different coloring books and they have worked lovely in all the books. I am very happy with my purchase and hope to get the neon ones soon.

Vivid colors that lay down smoothly
I primarily use Prismacolor pencils and am not sure why I decided to try these, especially such a small set but am glad I did. They are not quite as creamy as Prismacolor but they are smooth and layer and blend with Prismas. The colors are vivid and a little different than Prismas so they are a great adjunct. Would buy also as stand alone in a larger set.

Love these pencils
I love the lay down of these pencils. They are soft without crumbling. The pastel colors are amazing. I can see repurchasing these when I run low. I have ordered more Marco pencil because of how much I enjoy using this set.
