I used to carry each piece of garbage to the can one by one. Then someone told me about trash bags. Trash bags allow you to collect multiple pieces of garbage into one container, instead of having to carry each piece of trash all by itself. I bought these bags and found that I could save hours of time by putting everything into the bag, and then making only one trip out to the garbage can.

I don't know why Glad seems to have discontinued their Handle-Tie line but these are inferior. The bags are similar in weight and apparent thickness, but the top is just flaps you tie together instead of actual handles. That means you can't hang one on a chair or doorknob while you're working on something or decluttering, and although I didn't think that would be a big deal it's SUPER frustrating. Plus, the flaps don't stay on the outside of a kitchen trash can as well as the handles did, so sometimes you have to fish them out of the garbage in order to remove the bag.If it's all you can get, then fine, but prepare to be a little disappointed.

They work just fine as garbage bags, I mean they have the proper size and don't tear when you fill them. But they are heavily scented, and the package doesn't say they are. The smell is so strong I can feel it in another room (with all windows in the apartment being open). Since it's a large pack, it lasts long, I have it for a couple of months now and while the smell didn't bother me much at first, now it starts to drive me mad.There are many people who are sensitive to smells, so the information about perfume should be clearly stated on the package of any product.

Been using these bags for Years, simply the best kitchen bag ever. Unfortunately can not find them in stores anymore. I sometimes could find them at Target now thats gone too. Its crazy that Glad cant figure out these bags are so much better then the stupid red drawstring bags. When I cant find these I now buy a knock off handle tie I can find here on Amzn. They are not as good as Glad but 10x better then Glad drawstring bags and the equally bad handle tab bags. The only 13 gal trash bag worth using are Handle tie bags!
