What a great rubber brick!!
I’ve been looking for a great diving brick to help train my two sons (11 & 13) for Marine Water Survival training should they follow in my footsteps as I intend... lol.

Kids love to dive for it!!!
I was teaching swim lessons this summer & the experienced swimmers LOVED diving for the brick. Took up the challenge to see how long they could tread with the brick. Huge hit even if kids came to play.

Steel Brick wrapped in Rubber
I bought this brick to use the rubber as part of an engineering project. Either the description did not have it at the time or I didn't notice it, I can't be sure, bit this is a steel brick wrapped in rubber. The rubber layer thickness is variable, and that fact took a lot away from the project. Would be nice to have that and the content dimensions a bit more clearly stated (aka "Materials: Steel and Rubber" instead of just "Rubber" and the volume of steel in the brick). As someone who has worked in Aquatics, this will serve that industry well. It's a brick, and the only thing I would mind are the sharp corners. My use was niche, but unsatisfactory, hence 4 star rating.

Just what I needed.
Perfect for my lifeguarding courses that I teach. Also good for cross training in the water.

Good Diving brick
Smells a little at first and is a little sticky, but it all goes away.Like most diving bricks, if you keep them at the bottom of the pool you will have holes in the corners... normal.A good product for the price10LBS

Heavy-sharp corners until broken in
Great for using in the pool for extra "weight" training while swimming. The corners are sharp until they are worn down, but we enjoy using it. Good simple tool to add weight training to your swim routine.
