Avon Skin So Soft Bug Guard Plus Mosquito Repellent Picaridin 24 Towelettes

…and I’m not the least bit sad about it.Bugs LOVE me. This is important. I know other people who just don’t need products like these, but I really, really do. If I don’t use these types of products when I'm outside, I end up looking like I have the chicken pox, I sneeze constantly for a week, I rely on antihistamines to live and breathe and sleep, and I start to go out of my mind…But these are ridiculously effective, and of all of the topical bug stuff, I’ve found these wipes to be the least sticky, heavy, and residuey of the bunch (the BugX wipes are my second favorite, for comparison). The packets are easy to open and you don’t need a scissors, and they travel well as they are individually packaged and completely flat, making them ideal for back pants pockets and slit purse pockets. I only use one wipe on a light bug night but I use two when I know it’s going to be a bad bug night or I’m venturing out into woods for berry picking at dusk (with BugX wipes, I start with two on a light night). I also think these are the least smelly or stinky compared to the other products, which is another reason this is the favorite. I also like knowing that I can wipe these directly on my sensitive skin and after years of use I can confirm I’ve never had any kind of reaction.I tend to wipe up just prior to dusk, go berry picking, make and eat dinner, collect firewood and build a fire, and stay out until one or two in the morning without reapplying. I also don’t feel the need to shower before I jump into clean sheets, and I always showered after using just about any other product.These wipes contain picaridin and only picaridin as a repellent. If you are someone who is concerned about the use of DEET, it’s nice to know that there is an effective, DEET-free product.Finally, for those of you who like to wear any kind of nail polish, know that these don’t have any remover effect like some other products do (Looking at you, OFF! Stop also OFFing my nail polish!!).

I absolutely love this stuff! I will be eaten alive by mosquitoes and horse flys if I don’t wear this stuff! It’s a life saver and easily fits in a back pocket or purse!

This is the only product I've found that not only keeps mosquitos away, but also the terrible sand gnats/noseeums away here in South Carolina. I haven't found another product that keeps the gnats away from me. I'm extremely sensitive to their bites and they love me. Their bites hurt and typically itch for 2 weeks, even after the bite has otherwise healed. I'd take 20 mosquito bites over even one gnat bite. I will always have these in my purse. One wipe is good for two people to share which is good because they aren't cheap. Highly highly recommend.

I’ve used these several years in the Caribbean , they work well . I also get the spray with spf. Doesn’t irritate my skin. And it works!!BG

These are individually wrapped, and the wrappers aren't recyclable. I'm in SE Asia as I write this, and here in Bali recycling is a new concept...but if these could be wrapped in such a way that was more organic, I'd feel better about using them. I have also been using the Skin So Soft in the bottle-but the bottle's plastic, and I'm not sure that all of the hoopla about plastic being recyclable is true. Doing what I can.

On the island of St Croix we have no-see-ums, they bite hard. This stuff works.

I bought this item specifically to adhere to the 3-1-1 rule of traveling by plane. If I didn’t fly so often I would not recommend this as good value for your money. In today’s economy I’m not so worried about getting mosquito bites as I am about saving towards retirement! If I keep buying these little disposable towelettes in exchange for the large spray bottles I’ll be in the poorhouse soon enough. But for a flight once or twice a year it’s almost a necessity especially if traveling to the tropics. Yes, they do work for a few hours so I highly recommend them, but product must be applied often, so...again, not great value for your money if you’re on a budget.

Extended vacation in the Bahamas - I have teied EVERY brand mentioned on every website. Living beachfront for several months, this far exceeds Sawyer & OFF. Thes wipes are amazing, long lasting and don't make you feel covered in chemicals. Smell is wonderful!!Much MUCH better than any other brand I have tried ....abd trust me I have tried them ALL!One wipe will cover you entire body!! Wortrh the money!!!
