Packaged well and works great
These drives are packaged well with air bags on both ends to cushion bumps during transit and an anti-static bag to keeps the components safe. The equivalently priced WD Red Plus drive at this capacity runs at 5400rpm vs this Toshiba's 7200rpm and the WD has half the cache. Time will tell if this was a good deal, but if it lasts as long as my WD Red drives, I would probably go with Toshiba's offerings from here on out.

Working so far
Ran a quick badblocks test and replaced a dead drive in my NAS two months ago with one of these (8TB model.) So far, so good.It took FIVE WEEKS to ship out, but arrived in two days once it did. They were nice enough to not charge my credit card until the drive actually shipped. It was well packed too.Looking today, I see the price has jumped more than $100. I really really hope that's just a temporary spike because I'll be needing more of these soon.

Good drives.
I've been using Toshiba for a while now and these are without issues so far (about a month). I installed 2 into a NAS and they work great. My 3bg toshiba's are at least 5 years old and have had zero issues. I'm expecting the same from these.

Habia escuchado que hacen mucho ruido y la verdad es que no es asi, si bien se escucha cuando esta procesando la informacion el sonido es minimo y no es nada molesto, lo tengo en mi recamara y apenas me percato que se encuentra ahi, no es nada molesto.
