Works but product description is incorrect
Note this is a 2x12v @1.4A as per the pictures and velleman spec sheet on their website. It is not 48 volts at 2 amps as shown in the product description. It is 48VA which is its output power rating not voltage.I knew this before buying but thought I'd point it out.

Despite the confused and misleading "info" the transformer works well
Assume that what is written on the transformer is the FACTS - the makers should know! Tested it with input through my Variac - Input 100 v ~ Output on each side of centre tap 6 v. Input 200 v ~ Output 12 v on each side. Input 200 v ~ Output across outer wires ~ 24 v as expected. If you increase the input to 230 v you get nearly 14 v output on either side. The only drawback is the low output current - 1.4 A not the 2 A it says in the blurb. Took off 1* because of the misleading advertising

Works great for Aune x1s
If you have Aune x1s this will do the trick. All you need is din wire chop in half and solder this to it and plop a plug on the other end and voila. Works perfectly with no noise.
