the quality of these arent bad. Mine were missing a few lids.

Unfortunately, these don't seal tightly. If you try to use them as Alka-Seltzer rockets, they either leak or barely lift a few inches off the ground. I have to come up with a new lesson plan with next to no notice, because this activity won't work. Look elsewhere for canisters that actually work.

Had a birthday party at an arcade and these worked perfect to give our guest tokens!

Sad to say, these didn't work for our rockets. Needs a stronger seal. Wish I would have read the other reviews!

Chemistry teacher here. Not a strong enough seal for Alka Seltzer Rockets. Disappointed.

Not all film (when you can actually find 35mm film ha) comes in film canisters but instead will come in foil packaging, it's nice to have something to put your film in to make sure it stays in good condition, these work great as intended. I also use these for other things, like keeping deer urine in for hunting. While it is not deer season I did fill one partially with water and tossed it in a cargo pocket, it did not leak while being in my pocket for over 12 hours. I see absolutely no reason as to why I would not buy these and happily give them two thumbs up!

They look great! The canisters arrived on time. I will be using them to build mini rockets in my science class this year. The lids fit firmly in place but are loose enough to allow the chemical reaction to push the lids away from the body. It's going to be a lot of fun watching the kids actively engaged while learning some valuable science lessons.I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review. I'm excited that I actually got them at a discount. My school system doesn't have enough money in the budget to purchase materials for my science class so I spend a lot of my own money helping kids learn, year after year.
